Flights to Kanpur

Situated on the banks of the holy Ganges, is north India’s industrial hub, Kanpur. Originally known as 'Kanhpur', the city is believed to be founded by King Hindu Singh of the erstwhile state of Sachendi. Once a paltry village, Kanpur is now a city of strategic importance. Situated on the southwest of Lucknow, Kanpur is the largest city in Uttar Pradesh. And while being the most industrialized city of the state, it is also an important educational centre. A city of religious, historic and industrial importance, Kanpur is gradually becoming one of the most frequented tourist destinations in India.

One of the best ways to reach Kanpur is by air as regular flights operate from most key destinations. Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai etc. run on regular basis to this city; thus keeping it well connected with the rest of the country.
