Interlaken –In the Bernese Oberland between Lakes Thun and Brienz and at the feet of the three famous peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfraujoch is a holiday and conference resort of international importance, and an ideal starting point for countless excursions to the region’s top destinations.
Montreaux - The town of Montreux nestles in a sheltered Lake Geneva bay, surrounded by vineyards and against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered Alps. The Montreux Jazz Festival, which takes place in June/July and features concerts on a variety of stages and parks is very famous.
Geneva - Embedded between nearby Alpine peaks and the hilly terrain of the Jura, the French-speaking city of Geneva lies in the bay where the Rhone leaves Lake Geneva. With its humanitarian tradition and cosmopolitan flair, the European seat of the UNO and headquarters of the Red Cross is known as the “capital of peace”.

Day 1: India - Lucerne
On Arrival travel from any Swiss border or airport to Lucerne. Entire day is at leisure to relax from the jetlag or you can explore this lovely city or visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the new IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument on your own. Or spend your evening on Lake Lucerne with Cruise and dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 2: Lucerne
A memorable experience awaits you today. Depart on an excursion to the glacier paradise of Mount Titlis. Ascending the worlds first revolving gondola ROTAIR, ride the spectacular ice flyer chairlift and see the ice grotto. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 3: Interlaken
Today you travel from Lucerne to Interlaken on Golden pass train. Day at leisure to explore Interlakens Hoheweg- an inviting 700-meter long boulevard with hotels, cosy cafes, fashion boutiques, watch and jewellery stores. As dawn draws near, admire the mountains by taking an evening trip on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 4: Interlaken
This morning depart on an excursion from Interlaken up to Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe. This memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then ascent by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow, Jungfraujoch-at 3454m, the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces offering breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 5: Montreux
Travel from Interlaken to Montreux by golden pass Train. Make your way to your Hotel. Incase you arrive before check in time; you can leave your luggages at the Hotel move on to explore this town on your own. You can either visit the Chillon Castle, A prison now a museum located on a rocky island near the shore featuring fortified walls and towers; the prison in which Bonivard was held for four years and which provided Lord Byron with the inspiration for his famous poem "The prisoners of Chillon" in 1816 deserves particular attention. Nowadays the castle is a museum.
If not then don’t miss The Chocolate Train (Optional)- Switzerland is famous for its chocolates and its railroads. Put them together, and you get the Swiss Chocolate Train. This is one very sweet ride. Take this journey in either a pullman Belle Epoque carriage (circa 1915) or in an ultramodern panoramic car. Travel from Montreaux on the Swiss Riviera to medieval Gruyerela’s home to tasty cheese, affording stunning views of the vineyards surrounding the region, and continue on to Broc, where the Nestle chocolate factory is situated, where you stop for the delicious taste of Swiss Milk Chocolate, between Lake Gruyeres and the Alps. This is a day tour of approx 8hrs. Overnight stay in Montreux.
Day 6: Montreux-Geneva
After breakfast, finish your check out formalities move to Geneva. Make your own way to your Hotel. Day is for you to relax enjoy this business city or experience a cruise on the famous Lake Geneva and see the famous Jet-de-Au and then explore Geneva on your own. Overnight stay at Geneva.

Day 7: Geneva - India
This morning depart to airport to continue your stay in Switzerland on your own.

    TOUR OPERATIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    This Contract is between Yatra Online Private Limited (“we”/ “us”) and the Customer (“you”).
  • Your Holiday Contract -
  • When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice at the time of booking. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by Indian Law and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at New Delhi at all times. This contract is intended to supplement the User Agreement posted at http://www.yatra.com/YT/YT_common/user_agrement.html and other relevant policies/terms posted on www.yatra.com. In the event of any conflict with any provision of the User Agreement and/or other policies, the terms of this contract will prevail with regard to the tour services. This contract is not, and does not purport or is intended to be, issued on behalf of any third party service provider, like airlines, coach companies, taxi service providers, hotels, etc, who at all times remain independent third party service providers responsible for governing their respective conditions of service.
    Your Holiday Price -
  • When you make your booking you must pay a deposit of Rs. 20,000/- per person against the confirmation invoice. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 45 days before your departure date. If the balance is not paid in time, we reserve the right to cancel your travel arrangements and retain any deposit(s). .
    If You Change Your Booking
  • If, after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen departure date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by yourself. .
    If You Cancel Your Holiday -
    You, or any member of your party, may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices. The applicable cancellation charges are as per the published cancellation policy which is:
    Cancellation charges per person
  • 30 days or more prior to the departure of the Holiday or for non-payment of the Balance amount RS. 5,000/-.
  • 30 to 15 days prior to the departure of the Holiday 50 percent of the Holiday cost.
  • 14 to 07 days prior to the departure of the Holiday 75 percent of the Holiday cost.
  • 07 to 01 days prior to the departure of the Holiday 100 of the Holiday cost.
  • In case of no show: 100 percent of Holiday cost.
    The above may vary based on any specific cancellation charges as charged by the third part service provider.
    If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday -
  • It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements, but we do plan the arrangements in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. CHANGE We will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
  • If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements, our liability in all cases shall be limited to the costs of your travel arrangements.
  • Any changes to the actual airline after you have received your tickets will be notified to you as soon as possible and in all cases at check-in or at the boarding gate. Such a change is deemed to be a minor change. Other examples of minor changes include alteration of your outward/return flights by less than 12 hours, changes to aircraft type, change of accommodation to another of the same standard.
    If You Have a Complaint -
    If you have a problem during your holiday, PLEASE INFORM THE RELEVANT SUPPLIER, (e.g. your hotelier) and/or our representative IMMEDIATELY who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, giving your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in your redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who at no time are under our control or supervision.
    Our Liability to You
  • We accept responsibility for ensuring that your travel arrangements, which you book with us, are supplied as represented and promised to you. If any parts of your travel arrangements are not provided as promised, due to the fault of our employees, agents, we will pay you appropriate compensation if this has affected the enjoyment of your travel arrangements. Our liability in all cases shall be limited to the costs of your travel arrangements.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for any third party services or service providers, like hotels, airlines, etc. For example, travel delays are the responsibility of the air-carriers and inefficient hospitality is the responsibility of the hotels.
  • We are only your tour operator and at no time do we act as managers for your respective responsibilities and personal obligations. We are therefore not responsible for your acts, misdemeanor, omissions and neither are we responsible for managing any of your personal affairs; for example, we are not responsible for ensuring the safety of your personal belongings, travel documents, etc. at any time before the commencement of the tour or after it or during the tour.
    Conditions of Carriage -
  • As your tour operator, we are contracting these terms and conditions only on our behalf with you. It is not issued on behalf of, and does not commit any airline whose services are used in the course of your travel arrangements. Your relationship with any airline or transport operator will be direct with such respective third party service providers.
    House Rules
  • It is your responsibility to comply with the house rules of your respective holiday resort(s)/hotel(s). We do not know which room you will be given as your hotel will usually decide this shortly before you arrive. We as your tour operators cannot and do not guarantee the quality and efficiency of services provided by the third party service providers.
    Holiday Insurance -
  • It will be your responsibility to purchase any sort of holiday insurance cover and we are not responsible for the same.
    Exactness Not Guaranteed
  • We cannot and do not guarantee the exactness of any service that may be provided to you. For instance, photographs of the interiors of the hotel rooms posted on our website have been sourced from the respective Hotel management the visual appeal of a room selected by you cannot and is not guaranteed by us. Similarly, while we assure you of enjoyable holidays, we cannot and do not guarantee or represent that such tour will be as per your mental perception, imagination or thought about such tours.
    General Important Notes: -
  • Any Itinerary posted on the website is a only a proposed holiday outline. We are not holding any confirmed hotel reservations for your travel .The same is subject to availability at the time of booking. The quotation might changes based on actual availability of the service.
  • Incase there is any change in price the same will be communicated to yourself and only after your confirmation, we will proceed further. There will be no reduction for un-utilized services.
  • Surcharges may be applicable over and above the holiday price for the requested period. The same will be advised at the time of booking or prior to confirmations.
  • You need to make an advance payment at the time of confirming the tour and make the balance payment 30 days prior to the departure of the tour.
    Booking Policy

Yatra Holiday Experts will get in touch with you to deliver the full holiday kit at your door step. Please note some consulates may ask for a personal interview for which you may be required to visit the consulate.
    Please be advised that these are the sole and complete terms and conditions governing the tour operations, supplemented only by the User Agreement. No employees of our Company or our agents have the authority to amend, modify or change these conditions, and you are adviced to rely on the terms “as is”. Yatra reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditionsat at any time without notice.

    Standard Shared Vehicle
  • Means that a comfortable Van / Coach will be provided to you depending upon total no of arrivals. Please note we will be clubbing passengers arriving around similar time and dropping at various hotels. It is possible that you might have to wait for other passengers to arrive and your hotel may not be the first one for the drop off. The same holds true for departure transfers and other sightseeing tours as well. Incase you feel this would be of any inconvenience to you then we recommend that you book a private vehicle at a supplement cost.
    Minimum Participation: -
    Tours specified are subject to minimum participation of paying Participants. If the participation is below the minimum prescribed, the Company reserves the right to amend, amalgamate, alter, vary, or cancel a Tour without incurring any liability to pay any compensation. If company decides to operate the tour with participation below the minimum stipulated or if the participants are required to travel as "Individual Travellers", the company reserves the right to collect additional pro-rata amount. Persons traveling as individual travelers in such cases will not be provided certain services including that of tour managers, and the Clients may travel with the same itinerary with some amendments, such as seat in coach, airport transfers, which are at fixed times etc.

    Meals: -
  • There are pre-set menus provided on the tour. The meal and the type of meal is clearly indicated if available, in the brochure. We, however, reserve the right to change the meal arrangement, if circumstances make it necessary to do so. Unlike an airline, we cannot process for a special meal, nor can we guarantee a special diet for customers if applicable. In the event that the Client wakes up late and misses breakfast and in the event that the Client is out on his own and reaches late and misses dinner, then no claim can be made by him for the meal which he has missed and not utilised.
    Travel Documents And Clearances:-
  • It shall be solely the your responsibility to hold valid travel documents and statutory clearances, to enable you to travel on the Tour such as passports, visas, confirmed air-tickets, insurance and medical insurance certificates and other statutory certificates including immigration clearance. In any case, your Passport must be valid for at least six months subsequent to the scheduled departure date of the tour.
  • As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign governments, the Operator shall neither be responsible in case of non-granting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act/omission or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting there from. The position in respect of cancellation of Tour by Client due to non-availability of travel documents would not change only by virtue of the Client having applied for such documents through the Operator. Even if visas are rejected, the stipulated fees of the Operator shall be payable by the Client. There will be no refund to the Client, or any member of his party, is unable to travel due to the said reasons. In such cases, the non-refundable deposit paid by the clients shall be forfeited and no claim whatsoever shall be made for the same.
  • In the event that a client is unable to travel on the tour originally booked by him/her, due to rejection of visas by the concerned embassy, the said client shall have the option to postpone his/her tour to any other future date or transfer his tour to any other tour and in such case the transfer fee for the transfer of the tour shall apply. However, if the client books and pays within the cancellation period and is unable to travel due to any reason whatsoever including non-availability of visas or any travel documents, the cancellation policy will apply.
    Forfeiture Of Deposits: -
  • The Company shall be within its rights to forfeit the non- refundable interest free deposit paid by the client to the company along with the prescribed booking form duly completed for the tour booked by the client. In the event the client cancels the booking or on failure on the part of the Client to adhere to the tour payment schedule as informed in the documentation Check List or in the event the visa of any country is not granted or is unable to travel on the tour booked by the client due to any reason whatsoever, including medical ground or sickness, the non refundable interest free deposits shall stand forfeited, and the scale of cancellation setout in the How To Book section of the brochure shall be applicable and binding
Child Policy
  • 02 Adults and 01 Child are allowed in a standard room. A family with 02 adults and 02 Child are suggested to take either 02 inter connecting rooms or higher category rooms.
  • Child upto 5 years stay free of charge in the hotel.
