Himalayan Retreat A summer holiday in the gorgeous Garhwal Hills
Set amidst the idyllic Garhwal hills, about 8,000 feet above sea level is the Snow Leopard Himalayan Retreat. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains and lush greenery, the camp is the perfect place to beat the summer heat.
Stretch your legs with a trek around the campsite, or challenge yourself to scale the nearest peak. Or, if you want to take it easy, take a leisurely walk to acquaint yourself with the birds and plants near your campsite.
The camp is located just 70 kilometers from Rishiksh and 290 kilometers from Delhi. You can choose from any of the convenient trains or drive up to the campsite. Accommodation is provided in tents, ensuring that the utmost care is taken for your comfort.

The Camp Check is formerly of Taj Hotels and is knows for the best in Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine, with utmost attention to hygiene. Fresh fruits and vegetables from the local markets add the additional flavor.
Toilets:
Camp toilets are eco-friendly units. These are not attached to the tents but are set up for ecological reasons above the high water mark. There is facility of cold and hot water in bucket.

- Guests are requested not to carry any valuables or expensive items to the camp. The camp will not be responsible for any loss or damages.
- Non-swimmers are welcome to go rafting but may be restricted to certain sections of the river on the advice of the river guide/trip leader.
- Persons suffering from weak heart conditions, epilepsy, expecting mothers or those with any serious ailment are not permitted to go rafting/ cycling though they can participate in the treks and nature walks.
- Alcohol is not permitted at least six hours prior to any adventure activity. No alcohol is supplied in camp. During the day we refrain from drinking alcohol, as taking part in any physical activity is not allowed after consuming alcohol.
- The lower age limit is 14 years for rafting which can be relaxed to 10 years for the easy float trips
- Snow Leopard Adventures reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip depending upon the prevailing conditions.
