Kalimath is strategically located in the sense that it on the one hand offers commanding views of the snowline and on the other picturesque views of Almora town. Located 5-odd kilometers (3.12 miles) from Almora, it also houses a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. The area around Kalimath is very popular with foreigners for its grand mountain views, peace and quiet.
