Introduction

Located in the heart of the city in Bharathidasansan Salai, the Government Museum is a treasure trove of rare bronze and stone sculptures from different dynasties that ruled Tamil Nadu. Take a closer look at the depictions of Gautam Buddha, Mahavir and Lord Vishnu. They are remarkable for their ingenuity.
