    Excellent hotel. Great service. I did not expect such good hotel and service after tripadvisor rated it lower than savera and other hotels. I think his is clearly in the top 3 in chennai after having stayed in many of the big ones.

    Being a lawyer,I have been frequently travelling to Chennai for clients cases and have mostly been staying at Hotel Crown Plaza Adyar Park Chennai. Found the hosipitality,service and promptness of Hotel staff , in every department,whether it was Reception, Restaurent or room service or housekeeping. Every one has been polite, pleasant and quick service oriented. But there r some grey areas, which need attention. One instance which needs mention is my stay at Hotel on 23rd 24th July. I had requested for drop back to Airport for 12.30 PM but hotel cab was not available till 1.05 PM. I was desperate and anguished since my flight was at 2.10PM. Then came forward a young executive, whose name I learnt later as Preeti. She called a private ola taxi to drop me at Airport. She told the driver not to ask payment from me and she would make the payment when he comes back. I managed to get the flight and it was important for me since I had lined up my further meetings with my clients. I could see the sincerity, dedication, and passion of this young executive Preeti in her this action. She is definitely an asset to the hotel. Another name I would like to mention is Manager Uday Bhaskar to whom I narrated the incidence and I could see the heart warming response. He is person, so polte, smiling and around to help. Despite the small abberation, I would Still give the excellent rating to Hotel and would recommend my other lawyer and business friends to stay in the Hotel Girdhar Govind Advocate

    Very enjoyable stay at the CP Adyar Park. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very modern with updated decor and high quality linens. Bathroom with soaker tub was great. Airport transfer was punctual and friendly. Buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant was just OK.

    Nice and clean hotel, staff very friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast at cappuccino was good and the service was excellent. They are always keen to assist you. Overall very good experience and surely visit again

    Very decent 5 star category luxury hotel located in a posh locality. Rooms are very comfortable. Service is extremely good. Out door swimming pool available. Many restaurants inside the hotel to cater to different needs. Dakshin is a class by itself for South Indian food. The name of the hotel has changed two times with the change in the management but over all warm comfort is maintained.

    I stayed at this hotel in July 2016. I had a fantastic time at the hotel. The rooms were great. Connexions coffee shop at Crowne Plaza was my favorite spot to hang out. I enjoyed the Mami's coffee, high tea and all the extra's that I got to have there ;). The ambience was great. Vani and James the staff at connexions, were very pleasant and extremely professional. It is a great place to invite friends and share a conversation over some hot coffee and snacks. They also have other restaurants. At "On the rocks", I got to taste Pomo cino made by the wine specialist Mr. Anand which tasted awesome. The chef Mr. Prakash makes the best Gobi Kabab, Alfredo Pasta and the best focaccia that you can ever have. Mr. Prakash's cooking is a crown to Crowne Plaza. He was always smiling, warm and welcoming. He ensured that all of the food I got was tasting good and I was getting proper service at the table. "The Residency" was another favorite restaurant of mine. They offer buffets and ala carte. Mr. KK made the residency alive and was a great host. He makes it an inviting and hospitable place that only adds to the taste of the food. The best breakfast I ever had was the breakfast at "The Cappuncino". Chef Elango was very consistent in making fluffy egg white omlettes. The whole Cappuncino team was great. Kiran and Ashok were always consistent in their service. The front office staff were very professional. We had the opportunity to interact with the lobby manager Mr. Uday Bhaskar and MS Ashwini. Both were very helpful in addressing our needs. Since I had an extended stay at the hotel, I also had the opportunity to interact with the GM Mr. Arindamkunar. He was a very pleasant person and we could see where the hospitality of the hotel starts from. The GRE's Ms Mayuri and Ms Preeti were great too. Ms Preeti did a great job introducing us to the various specialties that the hotel has to offer. Without her special attention, we wouldn't have gotten to know all the facilities the hotel could offer to the guests. She understood our needs and ensured that all our needs were met. She is great at guest relations management. The laundry and room service was also excellent. The staff were very helpful in addressing any concerns. Crowne Plaza was a home away from home. Definitely when I go back to India, I would stay there again. They gave a five star service. I would really recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Chennai for a pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

  • Ours was a corporate booking hence the wi-fi was free. DO check for personal bookings as it may be a paid usage.
