Though the hotel rooms and fittings are quite old but the size of rooms, hotel location and staff courtesy/cooperation that matters most. Overall experience is very good

I stayed in the Cottage part of the hotel and felt that the management is completely neglecting this part of the hotel complex. My personal experience is given below: 1) Toilet was leaking and water was flowing on to the floor. It was repaired the next day. 2) Water supply gets stopped repeatedly and resumes only when we tell the reception counter. This happened about 5 times during my stay 3) Electricity went off at least twice during our stay.

While the resort is beautifully located, the staff are not at trained towards a customer service orientation. As it happened, the days that I was at Bogmalo, a large group of people had blocked multiple rooms at the resort for a marriage function. So, obviously from a business point of view, the group represented a much bigger opportunity to the resort than someone who was "just" paying for one room. So, right from the kind of room that I got to the attitude of the staff towards me was very, very ordinary. Not a pleasant experience at all and am feeling worse for the fact that I had planned this as a surprise get-away for my wife. Feeling quite foolish.

good location -- decent service -- pathetic infrastructure
by prasad b on July 26, 2016
We stayed at Bogmallo for 4 nights. the room we had was mediocre at best -- all the three doors -- entrance bath room and balcony did not work. The mattresses smelt moldy. The day we were leaving both the lifts were not working and the service lifts were really dangerous. Having said that the food was acceptable -- but the main lobby was really well maintained. IT was close to a Holiday Inn Express (in the US). The pool was decent but one of the guests slipped on the steps in front of all us. He later on mentioned that the steps were very slippery. And no internet is not free -- which century are these guys in?
Nice place, great location, and a good Goa-feel to it
by srineet on July 26, 2016
We enjoyed our stay at this place. The sea is visible roaring right outside the lobby and has a wonderful feel to it. You can walk down to the semi-circle of a beach. It is quite a view. We were given a chalet, which is a nice concept and really nicely built out of wood. The only issue was the nagging electrical problems there. I suppose you should pick the chalet in the non-monsoon season. The staff is quite courteous, the food was nice, and overall we had a good time.
A calm relaxing place to stay

The resort had corteous people who picked us from the airport. The reception staff was very helpfull and told us about our room and facilities available. The resort has an excellent beach side location where one can sit overlooking the sea and enjoy the beauty. The roo was comfortable, but there was no free wifi and paid one is expensive. The building is old so there were leaks in the corridors. Apart from these problems the stay was good. The food is very nice.
Goa in monsoon
by one-life-to-love on July 21, 2016
We stayed in Bogmolo last week. We chose it as it was nearest to BIts , Goa where we had work for a day. So that was the best choice we had. The best part of bogmolo resort is all rooms balcony open to sea. We too had the best view. Kids enjoyed pool and beach football. Food was moderate. Since we were vegetarians, not much choice. Awesome drive to Aguada fort , while enjoying scenic Zuari river and Mandovi river. The only problem we faced in our room was the friction in all doors. May be the monsoon dampness caused the wood to expand. It rained for few mins intermittently on both days and it was beautiful
GOOD STAY & STILL NEED SOME IMPROVEMENT!!!
by Prabaharann on July 20, 2016
The resort is right infront of the sea. Great view from the room. You can feel the wave sounds from the for the whole night. Pro: 1.Food and drinks are awesome. 2.Indoor games and gym. 3.Location Cons: 1.Wash rooms are not having proper draining system. 2. Wash rooms are designed in a complete western style. Where only shower is available to take bath. But shower cap provided. 3. Only toiletry tissue will work out in wash room.My parents have struggled a lot. Hope you've Indian guests more as comparatively as foreigners. Please have look into it.
top floors 3 & 4 are good.
