Food is so much over priced compared to the quality served.

Golkonda is relatively small resort but better maintained. Service is bit slow and not many things to do. Rooms are nice though few things needs to be maintained better. Overall had a good family break. Would recommend.

shabby service, not even a complimentary breakfast /welcome drink which is basic minimum expected. poor sevice. least expected from a star resort. restaurant services prohibitively expensive for a substardand service.

We took a day-package as we did not have time for an over-night stay here. The check-in process for the same was smooth and we were were given a quick tour of the premises. The grounds and garden were well-maintained and green. The buffet lunch included in our package was very good and had a wide variety of sumptuous veg and non-veg food. The paya shorba was especially exceptional in taste and so was the mutton boti starter and the mango and fig salad. Since we went early for lunch, we got quick and fast and efficient service. The swimming pool was clean and at the time we went, we were the only guests. The changing rooms can be a little more clean. Im not sure if the spa is managed by the hotel or separately, but the massage I received was not very nice. Despite taking the recommendation from the front desk, the treatment wasn't upto the standard that the price commanded. Very disappointed. I felt that the masseuse was'nt well-trained. Try to go on weekdays, as the place is relatively less crowded.
Okay resort with worst hospitality.

We planned a visit with family of 7 adults and 1 kid for duplex villa. I called and confirmed at least 3 times for number of people. I was visiting from Ludhiana and heard this was one of better place. When I visited here with my guests they started arguing in front of them that I had booked for 6 people. When from day 1 I knew how many of my guest were coming why will I book with wrong info. They said there is no space for 3rd extra mattress which was not right. I slept on sofa but they didn't provide extra mattress even though there was ample space. For the money they charge there hospitality service is a big stinker. Stay away or God forbid you need any favour you will regret. Food is really okay. Nothing special. I frequently visit hyderabad and 9 out of 10 places serve better food than this place. Only thing good about this place is its pool and it's well built property. Kids can play on there vast lawns. Need to tell you though there room service is okay. In short there are lots more better options for far lesser price available.
Quite good, but not outstanding

Location: One of the best options for a short break in Hyderabad, especially because Hyderabad is a bad starting point for most weekend getaways. Stay: The bathrooms are almost palatial. But it might've been a better idea to make the bathrooms not so big and make the bedroom/living space a bit bigger? We paid for a third person in the room, but there was no bed given, and since we couldn't spot a space where a third cot or mattress could actually fit, we didn't ask for one. But it is comfortable and clean. There's no real difference in floor plan for the three kinds of lower-end villas - it's just the pool view, first floor, or away from pool. The one negative was that instead of a double bed, we got twins put together, and that meant I got stuck in the wedge between beds a lot! Activities: There's enough to keep people occupied, and the pool is absolutely lovely. Food: Oh, the Minar! If you choose the set meal there, don't eat all day or it will defeat you. It's a LOT and it's wonderful. Be warned, kids under twelve are not welcome in the Minar, and I do think that having no-kids spaces here and there is okay - they warn you in advance if you email for a reservation, and I'd recommend emailing. There's another restaurant if you like, too, where everybody's welcome. Minibar in the room was not stocked. Service: No complaints. Nothing amazing that stood out, but no incompetence that stood out, either. Quiet, capable and competent. We made no special requests.
A very good place provided that you have a big gang

I visited Golconda resorts last week as a part of our company outing. It is very spacious with some breathtaking view, an eye candy for photographers and Fb addicts to update their Profile pictures. Well speaking of the amenities am not completely satisfied since I have visited other resorts as well. PROS: 1. There are 2 well maintained pools which are the only solace to the visitors. 2. The spacious resort itself gives the feel of living in the lap of nature. 3. The huge cricket ground is really highlight and will definitly capture the hearts of the cricket lovers. 4. The best and my favourite part: The food was included in our package. I do not have any words to decribe how tasty the food was. I would really love to come here again only for the Food. Havent tasted such a food in the recent years. CONS: 1. There are no other water rides apart from that 2 swimming pools. It bores you to be in the same pool for hours together. 2. The indoor sports wont satisfy a visitor who has come for an outdoor activity 3. It is only spacious, but there is harldy anything there to pass the time apart from the pools. Overall I can say the best way is to visit is go out with a huge gang(minimum 10 members) other wise it will be boring.
Good Place for Corporate Hangout
by SravyaChow on June 19, 2016
I went to the place with my team mates and had lot of fun in pool. The FOOD is Very Good. The cost is little expensive. The room service is not that good, they did not respond when I said there is no HOT water in washroom. Pool is good and garden is nice.
I'd pick the ground floor pool view rooms, but that might get a bit noisy occasionally.
