Leonia Holistic Destination

Had gone to Leonia for our anniversary weekend celebration & it was lovely... We had booked the 2D/ 3N couples' package from www.lifeisoutside.com. From the start everything was perfect, its an hour's drive from Hyderbad city (taking into account the traffic). We were impressed with the hospitality & service at Leonia - from the warm welcome, the midnight champagne, the aromatherapy spa session, thematic turn down for the evening, to the charming coffee shops/ restaurants, and the special candlelight dinner at the Water Galaxy & we felt truly pampered & relaxed :) The package mentions all the details of the stay but it's the service here which truly brings the details to life! Also at each stage the staff went out of their way to make the stay pleasant - we were upgraded to the Celestia Bay Window Suites free of charge, though for couples I would recommend the Celestia Cascade Suite with its own private pool! For food, we tried the Sun & Moon (good), Leo Bistro/ Shahi Handi (good again) & Water Galaxy (the food here was good though not excellent). Water Galaxy, though is a must visit for the amazing ambience - relaxed, romantic & with live ghazals being sung in the background while you dip your feet and have food in the middle of a shallow pool. Truly an unforgettable experience! It was a lovely weekend. There is a small water park here & some activities for large groups but it was pretty crowded so we stayed away. If you are not looking for too many activities but just a romantic getaway (considering there are hardly any decent places near Hyderabad), I would strongly recommend this!
