Extremely annoying experience. On our way back from Jaipur after an excellent stay at the oberoi Raj vilas on 13th April 2014, we decided to step in for Lunch at the resort Lebua. Our prime reason was to explore the location and with two 4 year old kids it was past lunch time and wanted to have lunch. The most annoying and disgusting experience was awaited. We reached the hotel following the directions. Extremely horrible inroads made the drive difficult but we reached the place expecting to have lunch and this was 1:30 pm. To our utter shock the security guard mentioned that his front office is not allowing guests inside for lunch as the hotel is booked. Outraged by this attitude I spoke to the Manager Mr Kandarp. It was ridiculous that he too could not accommodate a family for lunch and mentioned of prior booking required. None of the site of Lebua mentions a need for prior booking for lunch/ mentions no lunch served. The least Mr Kandarp could have done was accommodated/requested us to come in and have a chat over the phone without any shame he refuses lunch. despite me mentioning of the little kids with us, he had no shame to refuse us outright. This is most horrendous experience of having visited a hotel for lunch. Well I think they haven't been taught to serve the customers/handle situations amicably. And we thank our stars for not having stayed at this resort. and don't ever intend to.Read More
