"Beautiful property, but staff needs to pull up their socks!"

We went for a family trip and had booked four rooms, but when we checked in - well after the check-in time suggested we were given only two rooms initially. Later they gave us 2 more rooms but in a different block! So we had to walk down 3 floors and climb 3 floors to get to the other building...
The rooms were huge and very well done. The property is no doubt is one of the best in Jaipur and food is also very very good.
But the gym and recreational rooms around it were very badly kept. When I walked into the gym a think layer of dust was their on all the equipment. Their was no water, when I called up the desk it took 40 mins and 5 calls for staff to reach for help. The sauna was not working, which we got to know after the massage at the spa.
After we got disturbed with the incident at the gym etc, we complained to the GM of the hotel who took good care of correcting everything. But the responses like "Management is new that's why hotel is not clean" is not acceptable from the front desk staff.
I hope they are doing better now. If they fix the service, I would highly recommend the place to stay in Jaipur.
