Its like travelling to a different city. It takes almost over 1.5 hours from the Airport and due to traffic conditions in Kol, its a hell of a journey reaching this place.. While once you are at the hotel, things are cosy, hotel is nicely done up, but isnt maintained well on the rooms(from exterior) facing pool side..Staff is not very English conversant but manageable. Food was great, Good options for Breakfast but totally repeated on all the 3 days I stayed.Also, weekends they have a limited Menu.Paid Wifi after 60 mins. I wish could have stayed somewhere in the middle of the city, paying almost half the amount and better complimentary services. There are no nearby food/Entertainment options as its on an Kona Expressway and the closest place to reach would be approx 10 kms .Rather was surprised that they have only 2 cars and mostly they are not available, so a Yellow Taxi is called which has a prefixed rate attached. Location is a major mismatch.Would recommend only for couples who need some private time in an isolated Island .

The hotel is far away from main city and hence not fit for leisure traveller. Its mainly ideal for business trips, office parties and other events. I was there for my office year-end gathering party and stayed there one night. The property is nice, clean and very well maintained. The rooms are good and cozy. Food is also delicious. But the hotel needs to work more on its service.

The place was excellent with the royal treatment given to me. I would love to spend my next trip again with my family. The location, hospitality, food was superb. No words to describe the beauty of nature surrounding the hotel. The room service was awesome.

August 2011 : I was here for a business conference organised by one of the PSU's. I drove from Kolkata, as it is hardly for from the main city. Located on Kona expressway, right after you cross the Satraganchi railway station. It shares the property with The Lakeland Country Club. The parking area is huge and can accommodate a warehouse of cars. I was amazed at the size of the banquet hall. It was in three parts and was huge. The height clearance of the banquet gives it a grandeur look. The food is excellent and not worth missing. Even worth to catch up on the food during weekends or on sundays with family. The pool was nice and I took the liberty of taking a dip in it. It was really refreshing to do so in the evening. One can laze around alongside the pool on the sunbeds and spend sometime. The rooms are modern with all the basic facilities in place. Don't expect extraordinary views from the rooms as it overlooks the property grounds only. The Wi-Fi in the Hotel is commendable. However, with each room you get a Wi-Fi card which is usable only once. The moment you disconnect your net connection, you will have to get it recharged at the reception. So, don't logout if not required !! It's an ideal place to host events and catch up with some good food on weekends/ sundays/ holidays.

From the lobby to the rooms, every thing was absolutely brilliant. The staff were courteous and check in was quick. We were shown to our rooms and we had fabulous views from the room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The food was great. This hotel is absolutely worth staying at.
