Pro's 1. Hotel located just close to Private Bus stop. 2. Rooms were super clean and the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly. 3. Ambiance outside and garden surrounding is just perfect for a breezy climatic vacation. Con's 1. It is unfortunate that the hotel lobby was under renovation and the Wood and Chemical smell was disturbing the guest badly. 2. The room heater was found not working initially, however got it replaced later after 2-3 complaints. 3. Morning Breakfast was just above average and A'La Carte Menu doesn't feel justified for the reputation of the Star Hotel. 4. There are few places in the hallway covered with darkness throughout the evening. Overall it was just on average for a pleasant and peaceful stay.

Peak time visit to Manali - Summer Holidays
by saxenasourabh on July 21, 2016
The hotel is comfortable, near mall road - though to add Mall Road in Manali is useless and one can stay away from there especially in peak season due to chaos/traffic etc. Food, service were excellent!!!

though the look from outside is not great, it is a very nice place to stay. Very co-operative and friendly staff. Would appreciate the informative knowledge of one of the staffs - Mr.Somnath in Restaurant. He is very helpful as a guide, I would say. Good knowledge of the Area and valuable advice to the tourists. Food is amazing. Only a small concern was the toilets were spilling but room service was very good. Overall - it was a very Comfortable stay and Worth ! Big thanks to all the Staff.
Pretty place, some glitches

Almost from Bhuntar (which is home to Kullus airport) all the way past Kullu and up to Manali, much of the roadside along the Beas is occupied by resorts, homestays, guest houses and other accommodation for tourists. Once you get into Manali, this is amplified: in a row, one after the other, are only hotels. Of these, the one we'd booked into was Quality Inn and Suites, which was offering a fairly decent package: three nights, including daily breakfast and one major meal daily, for about Rs 23,000. Included in the package were other freebies (some of which we found a little odd), like the usual fruit platter, the welcome chocolates, and the welcome plate of cookiesbut also daily glasses of saffron milk or almond milk, and a free beer or a shot of IMFL. Also good: there's free WiFi, three devices per room, for everybody staying at the hotel. The hotel is very pretty on the outside: it looks like a Swiss chalet, all wood and sloping roofs and plate glass, with a nice little garden. There's a small tea lounge near the reception; a pizzeria, and an Indian specialty restaurant. Our room was spacious, with a large window looking out onto a view of the street and the river flowing beyond. Large wall-mounted TV, a coffee table with easy chair and footstool beside the window, desk and chair, wardrobe, good air-conditioning (and a large oil radiator fitted into the wall for the winter months), tea and coffee fixings. Overall comfortable, though there seemed to be some problem with the air conditioning: it kept going off all through the night, and had to be turned on every time. The bathroom, while otherwise all right, had two problems. One, the hot and cold water taps above the sink shot out vast quantities of water, no matter how gently you turned themand the sink itself was proportionately small, so the result was that if you weren't very careful, the sink would fill up with water within a matter of moments. The second irritant was the size of the shower cubicle: it was very cramped. As for meals, we decided we'd stick to dinner at the hotel while trying out Manalis other restaurants for lunch. The dinner (as part of the package) is a buffet laid out in a paved open area beside the lawn, with a bar counter and all. Predictable Indian buffet fare: mostly North Indian food, but with a couple of Chinese and continental dishes thrown in. The Indian food was horribly heavy and rich, so we ended up trying the the other disheswhich weren't too good. Breakfast was a little better. Over the two and a half days we spent at Quality Inn, we discovered other irritants. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor outside our room, even though we'd been assured that this was a non-smoking floor. The live music at the dinner buffet, when it consisted of a singer, alternated between pleasant and jarring. The guitarist-cum-singer, on our second evening here, was more talented. One plus point, though, was the attitude of the staff. We had made our booking well in advance, but a few days before we were to arrive in Manali, our toddler fell ill with a high fever. My husband phoned Quality Inn to ask if our booking could be shifted a few days later, and was pleasantly surprised at the response: the manager was not just willing to shift our booking, he even said, If I were in your place, I would wait until she's absolutely fine. They seemed genuinely happy to accommodate us on different days. Other than that, too, we found the staff generally helpful and friendly.

Good Location, comfortable rooms, prompt services and great food defines Quality Inn.This is amazing property not too far from main Manali market. Which I guess is good feature as you are in peace. We booked super deluxe and it was spacious room. Food was just great. We were pleasantly surprised when they took special care of us to make few dishes with less last and zero spices each time during our stay for Breakfast and Dinner. They have good functional gym and kids play room. Overall you have everything there which you look for in good Hotel.
Comfy Stay, Great Indian Food!
by Rash0201 on July 7, 2016
Good Location, comfortable rooms, prompt services and great food defines Quality Inn. We booked Cottage B as this was our family vacation with parents. The huge living space was warmly furnished, nothing fancy ( though I would have liked some). Our package involved so many services and food and drinks which we could not even avail completely in our two days stay. From hand tossed pizza to dal without tadka, they served us all whatever we wanted. The Evening Buffet was a great spread in the beautifully lit garden amidst aroma of fresh flowers, they had special evening performances every evening and luckily the singer was good. The easy accessibility to market and being on the main road makes going around easy.
The hotel is on main road so rooms in the building behind are better and quieter
