Sandhya Resort and Spa

Spent 3 nights in the hotel. It's a great place for family. A complete package including tastefully designed rooms, good food, and courteous staff. Loved their concept of cottages where you have multiple rooms with living rooms confined area. Excellent for a two or three families. Provides privacy and safety of kids. We enjoyed our stay there and this place is surely recommended.

When I drove towards this hotel and entered the service lane where this hotel was, I thought that I am damned for choosing this. But to my excitement, they had a huge parking and the hotel was decorated tastefully for Christmas and New Years. The hotel staff was very courteous, I would specially like to mention the General Manager of this property, he was highly helpful and had high administration skills, of which I was party to on the new years eve. Though in my family few people, took ill specially my 7 year old daughter. She and my parents had an upset stomach, but cannot blame that on hotel food, as I was okay. Benefit of doubt given. Food was okay, not that good, which was seen in earlier reviews. Spread was good. New year gala dinner and dance party left us wanting more, they had arranged for local folk music, then plenty of games for adults as well as kids. Plenty of booze, food , dance and what not. My parents too had a memorable day of their life. My son had his birthday on 1st January, so the hotel staff got the new year cake cut by his hand and everybody in hotel celebrated my kids birthday. Will, I come back, surely. However, while leaving hotel, it felt as if I had little extra on what could have been the decent (I keep checking prices at 10 sites before deciding) price for me... Highly recommended.

Me and my wife opted this hotel after going through reviews and we were very happy with decision made. We are almost stayed 8 nights in the hotel without any issues all the time hotel staff were very helpful. Even the ambience and cleanliness are great. Food at the restaurant was fabulous. Last but not the least location of the hotel was very convinient and peaceful, just 10 drive to mall road.At the end our stay was great for my next visit we will definetly choose Sandhya resort Manali.

Stayed at this hotel on a 6 day shimla-manali visit arranged by Manaliwonder.com ? a govt. approved agency in Himanchal tourism..it ws a hasslefree and a wow experience through out the trip.initially to speak about the property it?s not so connected to city,its located approx 2 km away from the mall road, which is a quite familiar place in the city,the positive side of this is the peaceful environment around without any hustle bustle noises of the day to day life, our check in was quite smooth and we were welcomed quite courteously, and even our allotment of cottage booked too didn?t consumed much time. Now let me brief you about our experiences with this resort in a brief way point wise 1. We booked cottages they were are wooden structures and are very attractive, there were three bedrooms with attached bath rooms and a kitchen and a big hall, everything well furnished and nicely maintained, no complains at all, the views from the balcony are really mesmerizing of the hills around as well as a river flowing by, this view is worth some time to spend at morning and evening tea and snacks time 2. Food is really delicious at this place and this come with a huge price, get ready to pay more. 3. Staff is amazing, always handy when needed one, and does the job well. 4. Some must visit places which are very familiar and nearby this resort are Hadimba temple, Tibetan monastery, Mall, forest area near mall 5. Mr. Duggal management person over there is very responsive, and is of great help in providing good information when planning local trips around 6. We would never ever forget the time spent around walking at the nearby Apple orchards with narrow lanes 7. The water heating facility at the resort is poor, they should seriously look in to it Final word will definitely consider staying here next time

After Staying in Hotel Kapil-Shimla,We went to Manali n stayed in Hotel Sandhya....Hotel has good parking space,Rooms are Neat n Clean specially Bathroom but as Mr Arijitb 1980 said that Hotel is like a Cold storage where they really dont have Heater or Blower to make Hotel or Rooms Hot. We were provided 2 rooms with tax n Heater(which they have is only good to make hand hot by keeping in front of them)for Rs:1750 each for 1 night. The blankets n bed sheets were good. Hotel has WiFi,they also has Cottages but they are costly. Room view is Good. Before booking do check other hotels n keep this as last best option.
