This is the most terrible hotel ever!

All the (way to expensive)rooms had moist-spots on the wall and ceiling. Bathrooms were old and not well maintained. The curtains and sheets felt moistly and cold. The airco had to be switched on at all times which means that the rooms were freezingly cold. If you would switch it of the walls would start getting wet and cold again! Terrible and very unhealthy. I got an allergic reaction because of the rooms condition. A doctor was called in the middle of the night, went to the hospital where they checked my heart and lungs. The advice was to switch hotel if the airco could not be switched off. The hotel provided machines that would drain the moist of the rooms. Within three hours the bucket was full! When we complained that we were not satisfied the reception staff was very rude and said that they never had any complaints and they were not going to compensate anything! We are shocked. Try that in Europe.. The lobby looks brilliant but that's just a facade. This hotel (the reception not the roommen they were awseome) doesn't get anything about hospitality and comforting guests. Absolutely no go! The food in the restaurant was excellent by the way. Hindoestani Family from Amsterdam (Mother, 2 daughters and son-in-law) The hotel is rather far away from down-town. If you are staying, book a (whole day)taxi with the tourism person in the lobby. This driver really made up for the bad behaviour of the hotel-staff. He drove us around Mumabi and shared really cool info and stopped at interesting spots where we could steo out and have a look. Recommended!Read More
