Small Hotel but they try their best to make sure you have no complaints! They need to try a bit harder ...I guess. Prices are steep esp. for the type of hotel! HOWEVER.....rooms are good, terrace restaurant is really good....u can spend hours looking at the nearby buildings / area with a decent breeze blowing throughout!! Food at this restaurant was good but took ages to be served, but the food (breakfast and buffet dinner) at the lobby level lounge was crap! Area is fantastic ....I guess thats why they charge so much!!

Dear Fellow Travelers, This was my first visit to this Hotel, the only deciding factor was the location near to my office and flashy website of the hotel by which you feel it would be a great experience. Below are the issues that I faced during my One Night Stay @ this Hotel The Room which I was given has following issues: 1. No Cooling in the AC - Even @ 18 Degrees Temp for almost an Hour. 2. The Rolling Curtain Rod was broken so you cannot raise the curtain to see the outside view. 3. The Room TV was not working - Some wiring issue 4. Room Telephone Not Working - you cannot reach the front desk or housekeeping....just keep going to the reception or dial from your mobile phone 5. Room was not cleaned before it was made ready for the next guest....Dirty Washroom....Wooden Shelves and furniture has patches of dust.....stationary was having dirt marks. A Pre Filled Feedback Form from previous guest as lying open at the designated place. After requesting the Hotel Staff....after one hour of my check in I was given a new room and assured that this will not be repeated. Now the Story begins with my new room..... 1. AC Still an Issue no Cooling at All. Lobbies are chilling but the room is not even mild..... 2. Response to service is poor......Avg Response Time to deliver a simple thing like Bucket of Ice is 30 Mins....that tooo after several reminders to the Butler. 3. I ordered for a Chicken Biryani ---- which I had some confidence that would be good seeing Hotels Rating with the Times Food Guide.....But again it was a disaster and I could not have even 20% of it.... All in All.....The Hotel Seems to be Too Flashy and High End ....for charging a Price in which you could easily get better hotels.....Even Ramme Guestline is a better Hotel in terms of Service and Overall Experience at a less price.. Not Worth it Svesnska.....Kindly look for big improvement in your service and overall seriousness about the business you are doing. Else You can justify the price tag that U have put in.....Just on the Basis of Having an Ipod Doc in the Room does not make the Room modern and consumer friendly.... All the Best.....

I stayed in the exact same room that I stayed on my last visit. I noticed urine stains on the commode in the bathroom on my last visit. which was cleaned (after I reported it); their bathroom bin is still rusty, which i find rather strange. My 2nd visit: I know I left my black Kandura (long arabic shirt) in the bathroom, I only remembered after I had checked out. I knowfor a fact, that I had left it there (I remembered this on the plane) The Indian customer service is built around politely saying "no sir". Guess what! thats exactly what Gavin from the front desk told me when I called from Dubai inquiring about my shirt. I know for a fact that I left it there, theres no other place I stayed, so its definitely there.

I was in Mumbai for 3 days and I would say this has by far been the best choice in hotels i have made.The check in was easy and fast and,excellent service.I got to the room and it was like walking into a mini mansion(for me anyways).I dont believe I have slept in such a comfy bed before.The room was very spacious and very clean.The morning breakfast buffet was great,the chef was prepared to cook whatever we wanted although the second day was the same thing,it was a bit boring.the best part was the free Wi-Fi ,it was very fast.The hotel housekeeping was very friendly and efficient.the hotel staff was well informed of the surrounding areas and was able to provide good directions.All in all I would definitely go back :)

Svenska is a lovely (and not too expensive) boutique hotel in Bombay. The rooms are spacious and tastefully done. I felt very comfortable staying alone; the staff is quite friendly. The breakfast buffet was average. I didn't get a chance to try their award winning restaurant though. Inclusive in the room rate is a complementary head / foot massage. How awesome is that? And an Xbox or iPad can be rented during the stay. Wifi is complimentary and high speed. The location is pretty central.
