The Westin Mumbai Garden City

Excellent hospitality and you can see the wonderful garden around this hotel. You can see the mumbai view from SPG executive floor at 28th floor. Wow... The gym and beautiful pool is marvellous and one enjoy thre week end here. Unfortunately I am here only for business ;)

Went here casually and the experience was simply awesome. Its a lovely place with a good ambiance and very good seating arrangement in the restaurant that gives a very nice feel. Spacing between tables is good so it gives the right amount of privacy. The staff was very courteous and always smiling. In-fact I remember Deepak who always had a great smile on his face. The restaurant is a bit on pricier side but overall if you are looking for a nice time its a great place.

I was in Mumbai for a business trip and stayed at the Westin Mumbai for two nights. I really enjoyed the stay and will stay there again the next time I am in Mumbai Check-in The hotel driver picked us up from the airport. The hotel is actually not very far from the airport (I think about 40 mins drive). I heard a lot about the "Mumbai traffic condition" but for transportation from the airport to the hotel was not too bad at all. At the entrance of the hotel, the car was 'inspected' by the security staff by looking underneath the car, under the bonnet and the boot. before we walk into the hotel lobby, our carry on items also have to pass through an x-ray inspection. I understand that it is typical for international hotels in Mumbai. The staff was very efficient and polite in the security check. The hotel lobby looks very nice with marble all over. The front desk staff was pretty efficient and very pleasant and polite. There was a bit of an 'up-sell' to upgrade to a 'club floor' room but I decline as it was against company travel policy although the difference is only INR 3,000 per night. According to the front desk staff, this hotel is 4 years old but to me it looks like it just opened last month as the lobby looks modern, clean and flawless. Rooms The room is HUGE!!! I think this is easily the biggest hotel room (that is not a suite) that I have ever stayed in. The fixtures look very new. there is a nice bath tub (unfortunately, I didn't have the time to put it to use). The shower area has a 'rain-drop' option as well. Very very Nice. the bathroom is an 'open concept' bathroom with sliding doors for privacy. The wireless internet is suppose to be part of my room package. But when I log in, it 'forces' me to select a INR 500 a day option. This appeared in my bill but the hotel staff reversed it without fuss. There are full height windows with a 'view'. There is not much 'view' per se. my room is over looking a construction site, but the light is very welcoming. Fitness Centre I used the fitness center very day that I am there. there are 3/4 treadmills and machines and weights. I only used the treadmills and the machine is in very good condition. I didn't use the machines and free weights but it looks new. There is also a pool area which I didn't use. I did note that it has a small water slide. On the 4th floor, there is also a 'kids centre' with some children toys. Although marketed as a business hotel, I thought it might be good for travelers with young children. Breakfast The breakfast buffet was part of my room rate. The buffet had a wide spread. There is also made to order eggs and pancakes/waffles. The fruits and juices are to die for. Very fresh and sweet.

The hotel itself meets highest western standard, great room, huge breakfast buffet, great service. great hotel in business district of Mumbai, newly built, international standard, Ideal hotel for business trip. Will stay here again with next trip to mumbai.

its got a class no doubt. Location is good enough only when you have work on this side of the mumbai suburb probably like the NSE fair grounds. Undoubtedly amazing lavish room space, food and ambience. The high rise view is brilliant and the free club access happy hours are added bonus,.
