  • Disgusting and horrible

    by k c on July 3, 2016

We spent 1 day at this so called resort. My family had the singular most disappointing experience at this place. Here are a few lowlights. 1. The floors were filthy and so were walls and the bathrooms(see photos). There were cigarette butts, cobwebs, and giant spiders that just came back after destroying nearby villages. 2. The breakfast room/restaurant had 10 x more files than humans. Speaking of humans, only 2-3 rooms were occupied in a resort with 44 rooms at the peak of the season when we visited. 3. The front desk didn't provide us change for our bill paid in cash with the excuse that they would have to pay it out of their own pockets. We had to take pity on the poor souls. 4. The security guard at the car parking was literally haggling for tips although he did not provide any direct service ( apparently the hotel is understaffed with the present staff planning to leave soon) This looked like a place that is dying fast. Absolutely would not recommend it even if there were a meteor strike or a volcano eruption or the 3rd world war and this was the last place of shelter on earth.

  • Good location and property

by NeverForgetMoments on June 8, 2016

Location and property wise it is very good. You can relax and spent quality time with your family and friends. But maintenance is poor. Food quality is not up to the mark. Payment mode other than cash is not available. Cost at higher side by considering all. I rate this resort at 3.5 out of 5. This can be an excellent resort if they remove all these shortcomings.

Beautiful resort, in nature's lap, 16 kms from Mussoorie on Kempty Fall road. Mesmerizing views, everywhere around the resort. Neat and clean rooms, excellent hospitality, everything here made me feel like at home. A wonderful and serene stay, would recommend everyone!

  • Excellent Service and Beautiful Location

    by Kavita7862015 on October 26, 2015

We stayed there during Dussehra Weekend and had a very pleasant stay. Views from rooms are really good and makes it a wonderful place to stay. Kempty Fall is nearly 5 Km so its also good. There is small local market nearby. Overall satisfied with what i get in 4000

  • Go here if you want cobwebs, spiders in room and bad service

    by Dhruti_22 on October 20, 2015

Pricing : Be ready to be fleeced on the name of long weekend It was the long weekend of october and we were surprised that rooms were available in this hotel. The listed price was 4500 bucks for a suite rooms but the hotel obviously decided to charge us a premium so we had to pay 8000 bucks. Anyways we called them couple of times asking them to send an email confirmation but the guy didnt bother to do so. Room : Rooms eerie with bugs spiders and mots for company embedded with careless service At around 9pm at night we reach the hotel which has blaring disco music no damn person is there on the dance floor but still the loud music. Anyways ignoring that we get into our rooms. It is like an old hotel with run down rooms, the beds the floors all so eerie, one of our travel mates discovers 3 big spiders in bathroom when he calls housekeeping after a long time they arrive and say oh its ok these bugs come coz of forest around is the response we get. Is it not house keepings job to clean the cobwebs and the spiders before a guest arrives. The bathrooms in the other rooms has mots and other tiny creatures for company, there is no provision of a coil or good night kind of machine to keep bugs away. FOOD- They are doing you a favour by serving you food(without the bugs hopefully) Dinner : Somehow we manage to get to the restaurant where we are told there is ala carte or buffet. When we ask for the menu, the restaurant manager tell us that there is no menu he will tell us the items on the menu. He names the same items from the buffet menu which we dont want to eat. Finally after a lot of coaxing he gets the print out menu, when we ask him for Dal khicdhi (easiest to make) he flatly refuses when we ask him for sandwich and egg bhurjee he some how agrees, the sandwich is an ice cold sandwich and egg bhurjee looks like its murdered. Seems like the cook removed all the frustration on the food. Anyways after this we gather strength to go back to our rooms and sleep with the spiders and new creatures that we may discover. Breakfast is another challenge, You need to ask 10 times before you get something. THe restaurant full of people and some of them are narrating experiences about spiders and mosquitoes in the room. Some of us are so frustrated we decide we are not staying in this crappy place and decide to go and check out the Marriott next door. Finally we RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL WE dont have a reservation but 2 from the 6 of us staying there decide to check out and drive back to delhi. As we pay the money( only cash) i see the guy coaxing another group to come in to meet the cobwebs and spiders for just 10,000 bucks (LOL). Since the reception guy is busy making wheel deals he tells me to come later to get the receipt. Finally after going there 4 times I get a receipt in the evening IMPORTANT TIP People for the same price there are much nicer hotels in Mussorie like the Fortune Jaypee palace Vermont amber under 7000 bucks. Do yourself a favor dont ever go to this hotel unless you want to experience terrible service bad rooms, bad badd bathrooms and more
