    Was at the hotel last week. The facility is far from the town. The staff is ill trained and is not able to handle simple requests. Rooms should be checked thoroughly beforehand as water was not available at times. Hot water was not available and the staff was not able to fix the problem for three days. Dinner is exceptionally late. Staff starts preparing dinner at 8:30 to serve it at 9. Worst experience ever. Will not visit or recommend the place to anybody.

    Had my first visit to Nainital and almost all the budgeted rooms were completely occupied.. Came across this place and had to go for a higher price.. The facility is good but not worth what they are charging... Nothing much to do in this hotel.. Stay was okay okay but received a really good service.. It was prompt.. The rating is majorly for service quality..

  • Poorly managed hotel

    We stayed in this hotel in March 2016 with family. Half of the hotel is under repair or renovation. This hotel part of Club Group of Hotels. We took membership of this group which showed lot of other affiliations. We were assured that all their own resorts/ hotels and affiliations are 4/5 start. Whereas this is not even 2 star. The upholstery was real bad. No running restaurant. No water in toilets early morning.Torn off pillow covers, torn off quilt covers, holes in floor rugs. Only on order food was served. If I upload pictures, it will b further bad t look at. I had t send these pictures t their customer are staff t get some attention and some replacements.

    We visited 3 nights and 4 rooms were booked. None of the rooms were consistent. No phones in the room to contact anyone..u will need to rush out to reception for anything u want. TVs are there but they dont work so if u want to enjoy match like india vs Australia do it on mall road not in hotel. Gysers are there but they will end up making ur trip in hotel only until it makes water warm. No slippers.. No towels .. No soap in rooms..you will need to demand for everything. We were finally frustrated and had heated discussions where we were threatened to convert the place as police chhavani. We contacted OYO representative.. He was of some help but not quiet. We paid about 3500 bucks per night which does not deserve even 100bucks. While having complimentary breakfast you should know what is chargable and what is not else you will regret why i ate additional stuff when u will see the bills! Pls avoide this place...far away from mall road and ur stay would be converted by hotel management as stay in hell for sure. Don't ruine your family time at such a place..far better to stay at cheap hotel around mall roas..where u may get good deals for 1000 bucks. Very old property.. Stinking bathrooms.. Water may stop anytime..even when u are in middle of !!! We wasted managing basic things everyday and wasted 3..4 hrs to get ready to out on tour. My final and serious verdict..never ever go for this property.

    The resort is good and the staff is very supportive. However, the resort is situated in complete isolation. So, whatever is needed please carry along with you as market is quiet far from this hotel. You need to inform the restaurant about your requirement for dinner and breakfast in advance.
