  • "Excellent and Relaxing stay"

    by Ridhima03 on July 18, 2016

Visited this hotel on 13th July 2016 and stayed here for 4 days. Awsum place to stay in nainital. Very friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Food was really very tasty. Nice and well maintained property. One can easily walk around corridors and open space outside. Open air Restaurant and Bar allows one to sit outside and enjoy nature along with his/her drinks and food. Feedback regarding wifi (as it is paid). Provide free wifi for the customers so that they can enjoy their holidays.

  • Average hotel with low maintenance

by Gaggid on July 13, 2016

I stayed here with my wife, we went for short trip therefore booked hotel only for one night. Property size is big, one can easily walk around corridors and open space outside. Open air restaurant and bar allows one to sit outside and enjoy nature along with his drinks and food. There was no view from my room as it was on first floor. I spent very less time in hotel therefore it was ok with me. Room size was decent and one can fine all the basic amenities in it. Bed was way too soft and it was making funny sounds. As it was raining outside i wanted to take bath in hot water, however after running the tap for good 15 minutes i was getting only lukewarm water off tap. So i had skip my shower and use bucket instead. Carpets around the hotel was dirty and stained. You can see dust off the seating space in lobby and carpets around the property. Some places walls were also stained and dirty, same goes to my bed back in my room. Which was torn from same places and dirty. I opt for buffet breakfast in morning which was very limited. I was ordering everything from the kitchen as food in buffet was cold. But i blame it to the weather as it was raining outside and cold therefore food items was also getting cold. However breakfast menu was very limited and not par with my expectations. Vikram offers free pick and drop but that is limited till Bada Bazar which is near mall road. You can avail pick up before 8 pm only, after which you have to book your own cab i come back to hotel. If you are coming post 10:30 pm then prepare yourself to hunt for taxi and pay above normal rates. I will try to avoid this place next time, but for the money i paid i think this hotel has lot more to offer. One can stay here if they are getting cheap deal and can ignore minor turn downs.

  • Very Vintage Vikram Vintage Inn

    by 475karanc on July 12, 2016

The hotel has a very vintage British feel to it. The decor inside is spacious and elegant. The rooms are neat, clean and cozy. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I stayed for 2 Nights, on the first day i had an issue and it was promptly addressed by the management. Needless to say after my very valid complaint the hotel staff was extra courteous, helpful and out of the way generous. The food was between good to great with it being great during my 2nd night. The hotel is a bit away from the Mall orad but they do operate a free shuttle from the hotel to the mall road. The distance is actually a blessing as mall road can be really crowded during peak season. The hotel itself is situated away from the mall road but provides great connectivity to other sight seeing areas in and around Nainital. The best way to go about is trekking to these areas. I would like to mention a few names from the staff as they were extra special during our stay. Mr D.K. Narwal the fooding area incharge, he can just about arrange anything for you to eat, Mr. Pankaj from the Reception area he was ery helpful in arranging everything for us. The General manager Mr. Manish he went out of his way to solve my issue on day one and was very helpful and welcoming of all his guests not only us. There were a few more guys whose name's i am escaping. But just about everyone at the hotel was superb. True value for money hotel.

  • Never visit this place

    by pulkit t on July 5, 2016

I visited the hotel in the month of the July. The only thing good about this hotel is their rooms. Their service is just pathetic and horrible.Very poor response from the hotel team. Their behavior was absolutely shocking.Very poor infrastructure with local homes around the hotel. They even charger extra money for billiards and their table tennis room was flooded with water. I would not recommend anyone to go for this sick place.Food was okay though but there wasnt much variety and the poor service just made it worse.

  • choose second floor rooms only.

by Gaggid on July 13, 2016

  • Check bathroom showers, they tend to come off. I could not understand reason of having bucket and mug when there was not tap (only showers)

    by Navin1201 on June 13, 2016

  • Since the Hotel is right in the middle of theh city, the rooms per say do not really offer any unique view.

    by rajeevagrawal1958 on May 3, 2016
