WelcomHeritage Palace Belvedere

I with my family travelled from Guwahati to Nainital via Delhi and Kathgodam and checked in at Welcom Heritage Palace Belvedere at about 12 pm on 18th June 2012 though I reached there by 10 am I had to wait at their lounge for my booking to start. At reception, the dealing person seemed not much qualified. Complimentary breakfast. The room was not very spacious. Bathroom was so so. The curtains very horrible it is a question of privacy which is the most important part of a Hotel stay. The bed were not OK. The sleep in the hotel was average. The cleanliness was average. My children were not much excited. The ambience inside the hotel was also so so. The Hotel provided drop and pick up service from and to market. The hotel staff was courteous and co-operative. The hotel from outside give a Circuit House like look and it looks like a renovated residence of an officer from the British Era. The hotel needs a good renovation and there is a lot of scope of improvement in the Hotel , the rooms, the doors the open space outside of Hotel etc. The location of the Hotel is very good the Naini lake can be viewed from there. This hotel is all about location and less of good accommodation. of the time I booked direcly by phone. I checked out on 20th June 2012 The hotel overall is Mediocre one.
