Not a very good experience!

We were a group of 8 Adults & 6 Kids and we stayed in 3 Honeymoon Suites and 1 Family Room of Hotel Landmark. We stayed there for just 1N / 2D and it was a average experience largely due to goof up by our travel agent. Check In wasn't pleasant due to confusion about rooms / tariff / dates and we felt we were overcharged due to this mess up. This incident could be an exception but reservation team must avoid these repeats which brings bad name to property and inconvenience to guests. We were charged rack rates and we felt that price charged for family room was quite high as its looks across the road only and doesn't have any view. Now, about rooms and property - Honeymoon suites are not much spacious but it offers amazing view of Annadale Ground. Wooden flooring in one of the Honeymoon suite was broken; and I tripped over coz of this. It must be repaired as elderly guests / kids may get hurt. Some renovation / restoration / paint job was going on during our stay and due to this stairs weren't accessible; I usually prefer stairs instead of elevator. Bathrooms are basic and not well lit and shaving in this dim light can be difficult. They have a Jacuzzi in bathrooms which can be used by paying Rs. 1000/- EXTRA. Complementary toiletries offered in the bathroom are of poor quality and we had to buy from market as we weren't carrying it with us. Wi - Fi is complementary only for 30 Mins afterwards its chargeable so we never got it activated. Chargeable Wi- Fi facility is a simple No No in this Internet age. Buffet Breakfast, under CP, was good and we all liked the food quality and service. Must say the Restaurant Manager Mr. Singh was courteous and accommodated our request for delayed B.fast as one member of our group wasn't well. We had other meals at mall; so can't comment on Lunch / Dinner. Ridge and Mall Rd. isn't far away from the hotel and one can land directly on the mall rd thru 6th floor of the hotel. In all our stay here was average; hope the management improve based on reviews and comments of guests like us.Read More
