Heevan Resorts

We stayed in Heevan Resort for 2 nights on 6th and 7th June. Front desk manager and F&B manager both were great people and it was pleasure interacting with them. Food is excellent! We were upgraded to a suite which added to our overall great experience. I will highly recommend this resort to everyone who plans to stay in Srinagar.

We were 2 families (4 adults, 4 children) and stayed at the hotel in early June 2013. The hotel is conveniently located, about 10 mins from dal lake and proximal to the popular shopping spots for carpets and handicrafts. The rooms, while not luxurious, were functionally effective and generally had all the amenities. WiFi is complementary and cell phone connections were good. The hotel has a well manicured lawn that provided a nice setting on the nippy night under a sky full of stars. The buffet menu for breakfast and dinner had a range of items representing varied Indian cuisines. The manager and the entire staff were very courteous and efficient in their service, and very attentive to the varied needs of the several families. The key distinguishing aspect of this hotel is the warmth and hospitality of the entire staff, including the front desk, housekeeping and security. We enjoyed Sohail's insightful perspectives on topical issues. he was unhappy with the tour driver's conduct and even without our complaining, raised it with the car owner and caused a positive change in the driver's attitude. It has been very convenient to stay at the Heevan properties in Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam (separate reviews to be written). We booked the hotel directly with Ahad company and their representative Adil Bashir has been particularly helpful in facilitating our numerous requests. I have found staying with Heevan in their various locations and booking with them directly to be a very effective way to plan the Kashmir itinerary. I had heard a lot about the Kashmiri hospitality before I came here, and it is very much the truth. The Heevan hotel at Srinagar was our first stop and a great introduction to that hospitality. The hospitable service we experienced is the principal reason I will highly recommend this property as you plan your trip.

We would like to thank all the people working at the heaven hotels & resorts. We stayed there for 5nights & 6days (from 3rd to 8th Jun,2013) in srinagar, pahalgam and gulmarg.. It was wonderful experience. Hotel's cleanliness, rooms and services are very good... The staff of the hotel were very kind to us.. They are cooperative n friendly.. Special thank to our driver Mr Akram who was responsible for making our journeys between their various properties smooth without hiccups. Overall it was a great experience with ahad group of hotels.

Stayed at Heevan Resort for 2 nights during my visit to Srinagar. Away from the Dal Boulevard yet no so far. Tucked away in one of the peaceful lanes near Dal. Great, comfortable rooms with nice view. If you have nothing planned in the evening you can just spend time in their garden or play some games in the open. Manager Suhail was quite helpful during the stay and otherwise. Their service is good too though they can do with some improvement in the common area and food.

We discovered this nice hotel as part of our 'Glorious Kashmir' package by Cox and Kings. We had three rooms booked for two days as right from the moment we checked-in we got personal attention of Front office manager Mr Suhail Nisar, who ensured that we were satisfied with the rooms provided and took personal attention to make us feel being serviced well. Mr Majid Jhengir, Food and Beverage Manager also deserves credit for ensuring good spread of breakfast and dinner menu with efficient staff. Overall we would like to recommend this as a family hotel.
