    Spread over an area of 10 sq km Ayodhya lies on the banks of the river Ghagra or Saryu. The ancient city is believed to be the birth place of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu.     Hanuman Garhi
    Situated right in the center of the town Hanuman Garhi is easily approachable. Visitors to Ayodhya must make a move towards Hanuman garhi.     Ramkot
    Most visited religious site in Ayodhya is Ramkot. Ramkot located in the western part of the city marks the site of Lord Rams fort. This is the place where Lord Rama was bequeathed with kingdom of 'Koshala'. The day of Ram Navami, birthday of Rama remains festive here in the month of Chaitra.

    Faizabad
    Safdar Jang, the second Nawab of Avadh laid the foundation of this town and made it his military headquarters. The ruins of he chowk, Tirpaulia, Anguribagh, Motibagh, Asafbagh & Bulandbagh, built by Suja Ud Daula are worth visiting.
