Kalatope A chraming hideaway, Kalatope comprises a picturesque palace and a forest rest house. Kalatope lies at a distance of 5 kilometer from Dalhousie. At an altitude of 8,000 ft, Kalatope situates 10 kilometers away from GPO Sqaure. The home of dhogri families Lakkarmandi is snuggled between 8,600 feet high Dayan Kund peak on its right and Kalatope on the left. Blazer, Vice Counselor and Head of Chancery of Switzerland in India christened Khajjiar the mini Switzerland of India. Khajjiar is among the 160 locations in the world that bear topographical semblance with Switzerland.
