Jumma Masjid With an area of 38016 square feet the Jumma Masjid built by Feroz Shah very much resembles the huge mosque of Cardova in Spain. The architecture of the building is Persian with narrow entrances and stilted domes.
Malkhed Malked was a Jain center in the bygone era, where bronzes and Jain sculptures are found. Malked is the place that gave birth two famous personalities, viz, Tikacharya, the Madhava saint and Pushpadanta.
Ganigapur Ganigapur is few kilometers from Gulbarga. Hub of Dattatreya worship, the center has the hallowed math of Shri Narasimha Saraswathi. The river Amreja and Bhima forms a confluence here and many pilgrims take holy a dip here. A jatra helds every year in the month of February. This place is better known as ‘Deval Ganagapur’.
Gulbarga Fort Originally built by Raja Gulchand and later on strengthened by Ala-Ud-Din Bahmani, Gulbarga Fort is an important piece of work. The fort has 26 guns and 15 towers and has witnessed many attacks. Later on Adil Shah took the onus of repairing it with booty taken from Vijayanagar.
Khwaza Bande Nawaz Dargah The Khwaza Bande Nawaz Dargah of Gulbarga is one of the most prominent landmarks over there. This is the tomb of famous Sufi saint Khwaza Syed Mohammad Gesu Daraz, better known as Khwaza Bande Nawaz. This is awonderful building frequented by many visitors. The Dargah is also where an annual ‘Urs’ held attended by innumerable tourists every year.
Shorapur Shorapur is better famous as Supur is a charming city on an edge. Hemmed by hills the landmark is marked with mosques, temples and palaces. The residence of an Englishman Col. Meadows Taylor, called Taylor’s Manzil is there. He was appointed by the British as an agent to the state.

Kembavi This is well known for its relations with Bahamani Dynasty. 29 kms North West of Sharapur is the spot where an annual ‘Urs’ helds every year.
Sonthi Sonthi houses the renowned Chandralamba Temple. It is an important pilgrim center. The holy Bhima River flows besides it.
Narayanpur Dam Athwart the Krishna River is a massive engineering exploit. Inaugurated in 1982, the Narayanpur Dam is set against the backdrop of fine-looking gardens.
