    Built in 1938 by Maharaja Ganesh Pal Deo Bhadur, Bhawar Vilas Palace served as the residence of the royal family of Karauli.     Madan Mohanji Temple
    Dedicated to Lord Krishna, Madan Mohanji Temple was built in 1885 AD by Shri Vithal Ji in the tradition of Shuddhadwaita Pushtimarga Sampradya of Shri Ballabhacharyaji for Ashtayam Pooja of lord Krishna. A beautiful statue of lord Krishan is installed in the temple. Built in the typical haveli style of architecture, the temple is the seventh seat of Shuddhadwaita Pushtimargi Sampradaya of Shri Ballabhacharya.

    Karauli possesses a grand fort, which is over 600 years old. It remained the residence of Karauli’s royal family until 1950. The crumbling fort has now been inhabited by Monkeys geese and pigeons.
