Bada Imambada The Bada Imambada was built by Asaf-ud-Daula in the year 1784 as a part of the famine relief project. It is a big domed hall with a length of 50 m and a height of 15 m. The famous bhul bhulaiya is there. There is also a mosque with two tall mianarets over there.

Chota Imambara Chota Imambara is an impressive monument located in the Old City area of Lucknow. Also known as Husseinabad Imambara Chota Imambara is the landmark of Lucknow. Chota Imambara was the office of the erstwhile Husseinabad trust that owned the city once.
Muhammad Ali Shah the then Nawab of Awadh commissioned Chota Imambara under 'Food for Work' program started to bring relief for the city populace. The building has been designed on the Charbagh pattern and is Indo-Islamic in nature. The interiors have some very good Arabic calligraphy and glassworks.
