A bare hamlet on the fringes of Rajagriha was host to Buddha and Mahavira. However, few centuries later the naive locale turned to be one of the world famous learning centers. The Wreckage of Nalanda University
Nalanda University was one of the top learning centers of the world at a time. People from many countries came here to get the world class enlightenment. The remains of Nalanda University are stretched over an area of 14 hectares. The university was completely built with Red Bricks. The university attracted scholars from many countries.

The Museum
