Brahma Temple
Nestled midst in the gorgeous Pushkar valley, the scared Brahma temple is an important pilgrim centre for the Hindus. It is the only temple in India, which Lord Brahma, (the creator of universe) is worshipped. It houses a life sized four-armed statue of Lord Brahma. The temple has marble floors and stairs and is decorated by silver coins. The coins have been put by the devotees to mark the birth and death of the loved ones.
Pushkar Lake
The placid Pushkar Lake has an immense significance for the followers of Hinduism. Legend goes that the lake was created after a lotus fell from the hands of Lord Brahma and dropped into this picturesque valley of Pushkar. A beautiful lake sprang up on the same spot, which is now considered sacred amongst Hindus. The entire lake is dotted with more than 500 temples, 52 palaces, and 52 ghats. During Karitk Purnima in of November every year, devotees flock to Pushkar to take holy bath in the Pushkar Lake.
Savitri Temple
Dedicated to Lord Savitri, the wife of Lord Brahma, the temple sets atop the lush green Ratnagiri Hill. According to a legend, Lord Brahma performed a Yagna along with an untouchable named Gayatri in the absence of his wife. The infuriated Savitri cursed Brahma that he would only be worshiped in Pushkar and that too only once in a year, hence there are no Brahma Temples elsewhere. She left and immolated herself at Ratnagiri hill, where now stands her temple that dates back to over 2,000 years.

By Air: Jaipur is the nearest airport, which is 145km away from Pushkar. There are regular flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, and Aurangabad from Jaipur airport.
By Rail:The nearest railhead is Ajmer, which is located at a distance of 14km from Ajmer. It is well connected with direct trains from, Delhi, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and other major destinations in the region.
By Road: A wide network of bus services connects Pushkar to key destinations around. Jeeps and taxis are also available but on a fairly higher cost. The best mode of transportation to travel in and around the city is bike, which can be hired at a minimal amount from shops.
