    Rumtek Monastery
    Perched atop a hill in Gangtok iis the ancient Rumtek Monastery, which is the largest mosnatry of Sikkim. Home to the monk community, Rumtek houses the magnificent Golden Stupa, which contains the precious relics of his Holiness the Sixteenth Karmapa.

    Tsomgo Lake
    Surrounded by picturesque mountains, Tsomgo Lake is located at a height of 12400 ft, at a distance of 38 Km from Gangtok. This tranquil lake remains frozen during winters. A small Shiva temple rests on the bank of the lake.

    Nathula Pass
    Wrapped in silvery white snow, Nathula is a pass on the India and China border. Located at a distance of 55 kilometers from Gangtok, the pass was once the part of the famous Silk route connecting the plains of Bengal with Tibet.
