Itinerary: Delhi - Neemrana – Jaipur – Sariska – Agra - Delhi
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
A Yatra representative will meet you at a location convenient to you in Delhi and transfer you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel of stay. Check-in at your pre-booked hotel. You are at leisure to explore the historical landmarks of the national capital at your pace, engage in a spot of shopping and try out some delectable cuisine at Connaught Place or Pandara Road market. Spend the night at your hotel.

Day 2: In Delhi
After breakfast, continue on a sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Visit the historical sites of the city such as Qutab Minar, the mausoleum of the Muhgal Emperor Humayun and the Birla Temple. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Estate), Parliament House and Secretariat building. Further on, proceed to the Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor ShahJahan, and Jama Masjid - one of the largest mosques in India. Visit Chandni Chowk, a traditional shopping hub to get a taste of life in the old city. The tour also includes visits to Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru respectively. After exploring the tourist landmarks of Delhi, return to your hotel and spend the night.

Day 3: Delhi- Neemrana
After breakfast, set out on a morning drive to Neemrana. About 120 kilometers on the Delhi-Jaipur highway (approx. 3-hour drive), Neemrana is a bustling tourist destination famous for its fort built on a hill. Upon arrival in Neemrana, check-in at the hotel for the night.

Neemrana Fort is nestled on a majestic plateau concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year old Aravalli Ranges. Built in 1464, Neemrana Fort-Palace is among India's oldest heritage resorts. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo and Neemrana derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo, who when defeated by the Chauhans, pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom. The property covers 25 acres/10 hectares and the stepped palaces of this architectural jewel cut into the hillside to sprawl over 3 acres/1.2 hectares and rises to 10 levels commanding splendid views of the landscape. From 1986, the ruins of this Fort-Palace have been sensitively restored and reconstructed. The rooms are furnished with an eclectic mix of traditional Indian and colonial furniture, antiques and objet d'art. Most rooms have private balconies or terraces and the bathrooms come with great views of the surrounding hills.

Activities within the fort walls include games such as cards, chess, carom, treasure hunt, musical chair, and a guided tour of the fort. You can also spend some time in the library browsing its collection, or take a dip in the sparkling pool, join the yoga/meditation class or pamper yourself with a rejuvenating Ayurvedic therapy. And if you are more energetic, sign up for guided tour of the 18th century Stepwell or enjoy a camel cart ride, or a trek to the watchtowers on the hills. For those who crave for a surge of adrenalin, try Flying Fox – India’s first ever zip-line experience. Day 4: Neemrana - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a drive to Jaipur through the green Aravalli hills, about 138 kilometers from Neemrana Fort (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival in Jaipur, check-in at a hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure sightseeing around at your pace.

Jaipur, popularly known as the ‘pink city’ is characterized by an ochre-pink color of its old edifices and ramparts. Interestingly, the Rajputs of Rajasthan likened the color pink with hospitality. Despite being a bustling business centre, Jaipur is a unique blend of modern high rises and old pink structures, suffused with a royal ambience. Glorifying the bygone era, the ancient forts of Nahargarh, Amer, Moti Dungri and Jagarh offer a truly stunning backdrop.

Spend the night at your hotel.

Day 5: In Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Tour the Amber Fort - the capital of the state till 1728. Visit Jagmandir or the Hall of Victory that glitters with thousand mirrors, Jal Mahal and Temples of Kali. Enjoy an elephant ride on your ascent to Amber Fort and behold panoramic views of the city along the way.

In the afternoon, visit the Maharaja’s City Palace and Jantar Mantar, drive past Hawa Mahal or The Palace of Winds and past the rose-pink residential and business quarters of Jaipur. After a day of sightseeing and discovering the different colors of Jaipur, return to your hotel and spend the night.

Day 6: Jaipur - Sariska
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Sariska Tiger Reserve. Sariska is about 110 kilometers from Jaipur, and given the morning traffic the drive will take about 2 hours. Upon arrival check-in at a the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Sariska is probably one of the most visited wildlife parks in India. Like many other wildlife parks, Sariska too was the hunting reserve of the royal family of the area. In this case the royal family of Alwar. The reserve was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1958 and came under the protection of Project Tiger as a tiger reserve in 1979. The park covers a large area of 800 square kilometers, 480 square kilometers of which form the core area of the national park.

Day 7: In Sariska
After a hearty breakfast, head out to the tiger reserve for morning and afternoon game safaris. You will be accompanied by a trained naturalist on these trips. Spot the Great Indian Tiger in its natural habitat; you will discover a fair population of peacocks and deer among other wild animals and birds. After a demanding day of jungle safari, retire to your room in the evening and get a good night’s sleep.

Day 8: Sariska - Agra
A sumptuous breakfast fortifies you for a long drive – about 5 hours – to Agra, approx. 210 kilometers from Sariska. Before Agra, halt and visit Fatehpur Sikri. The fortified city was built by Akbar as his political capital, and even today it impresses visitors with its majestic palaces and the five-tiered Panch Mahal. The tomb of Salim Chisti, a saint who had predicted the birth of Akbar's son is also at Fatehpur Sikri.

Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at a pre-booked hotel and spend the night.

Day 9: Agra - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, continue on a sightseeing tour of Agra. Via the newly built expressway, the 204 kilometer drive will take about 4 hours.

Your first stop for the day will be the Taj Mahal, recognized as one of the modern wonders of the world. The monument is a mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor ShahJahan as a testimony of his love for his empress, Mumtaz Mahal.

Next stop will be Agra Fort. Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the fort was home to the greatest Mughal Emperors - Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, ShahJahan, and Aurangzeb.

After exploring India’s most popular historical landmarks in Agra, drive back to Delhi and check-in at the hotel. Spend the night at your hotel.

Day 10: Departure from Delhi
After breakfast, a Yatra representative will facilitate your transfer to the international airport or any other location convenient to you in Delhi for your onward journey.
