Agra
Agra is the popular city fraught with the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of the tour. Agra Fort built of red sandstone and marble, a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates is another point of interest for travelers.
Jaipur
Set in a picturesque location, Jaipur is a destination of its own. Given the range of point of interests, Jaipur over the years has turned to be one of the reigning tourists’ hotspots. Sightseeing involves Amber Fort, Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali. Amber Fort is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments.
Ajmer
The most famous pilgrimage centre for the Muslims and the Hindus is Ajmer. The Dargah Sharif-tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, is much popular to the Muslim devotees. Nestled in the heart of Rajasthan, around 130 km west of Jaipur Ajmer is surrounded by the rocky Aravalli hills.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport,Our representative will assist you and escort you to your hotel. Relax at your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, proceed on a guided city tour of old Delhi which includes magnificent Red Fort and Jama Masjid (largest mosque in Asia) built by Mughal Emporer Shahjahan.Visit all the famous monuments of Delhi such as India Gate,Humayun'sTomb Raj Ghat and attend the evening arti at Laxmi Narayan temple( if time permitted). Enjoy a delicious dinner and drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
After Breakfast, Morning drive for Agra -The land of Taj and en route visit Sikandra which houses the mausoleum of emporer Akbar. Check in at your hotel in Agra and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the monument of love -Taj Mahal built by Shahjahan for his beloved queen Mumtaj Mahal. Continue the tour by visiting Agra fort and Dayal Bagh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 4: Agra - Jaipur
Next morning proceed to Jaipur – The pink city.En route visit Fatehpur Sikri known for the Dargah of Salim Chisti. On Arrival at Jaipur and check in at your hotel. In evening you are free to explore this city of maharajas.
Day 5: Jaipur – Ajmer
After Breakfast, Pay a visit to the Durgah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer- once the capital of kachhawaha rajputs. You can also check out the other prime attraction of Ajmer such as Adhai din ka Jhopra,Taragarh fort and Anna Sagar lake.
Day 6: Ajmer – Delhi
After a delicious breakfast,you will drive back to Delhi with lots of memories of this vibrant tour.
