Gangtok

Darjeeling
The Place of thunderbolt, Darjeeling is one of the pleasant hill stations in India. Situated at a height of 2143 meters, this magnificent hill resort makes an ideal place for a quiet break. You will be mesmerized by the panoramic sight of the majestic snow topped Himalayan ranges and bright green tea estates spread in acres. If you want to explore this foggy hill station then Darjeeling toy train (Also listed as a world heritage site) is the ideal choice. The train passes through dense forests crisscrossed by gurgling waterfalls, deep tunnels and rambling bridges. A slow ride on Darjeeling toy train would definitely leave an ever lasting spell on your mind.
Day 1: Arrival Delhi
On arrival meet and assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. stay Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, Take a tour the historic city of old Delhi to include the magnificent Red Fort, Jama Masjid, largest mosque in Asia, both built by Shahjahan, Rajghat-memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation". Afternoon, tour of New Delhi to include Humanyun Tomb, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Birla Mandir, Bahai Temple. Optional tours in the evening can be arranged for sound and light show at the Red Fort. or local dance show. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Bagdogra Airport - Kalimpong
After Breakfast transfer to Delhi airport for Bagdogra. On arrival at Bagdogra airport transfer to Kalimpong (75 kms / 3hrs). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Kalimpong - Gangtok
After breakfast visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries & then transfer to Gangtok (85 Kms / 3Hrs). Check in overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Gangtok
This is a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (departure in the morning)- situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return Back to Gangtok. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Gangtok - Lachung
Pick from Gangtok Hotel and transfer to Lachung (117 kms / 05 1/2 hrs). Lunch enroute. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7: Lachung - Yumthang - Lachung
Take an excursion to Yumthang (24 kms / 1.5 hrs). Overnight at Resort.
Day 8: Lachung - Gangtok
Transfer to Gangtok. On the way, see mighty Kanchendzonga from Singhik (subjected to good weather condition) and visit Phodang Monastery. Overnight at Hotel
Day 9: Gangtok - Darjeeling
Today Transfer to Darjeeling (115 kms / 04 hrs). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: Darjeeling
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon go for a half-day sight seeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11: Leave Darjeeling - NJP Railway / IXB Airport
After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport, (100 Kms / 3 Hrs) to connect flight for Delhi / Mumbai Upon arrival Delhi / Mumbai transfer to international airport to connect return flight home.
