Shimla :
Shimla of Himachal Pradesh was the summer capital of the erstwhile British Raj in India when Britsih camped here in the year 1819. Today Shimla is one of the top tourists’ hotspots in India. The hill resort witnesses innumerable tourists every year both domestic and international. Shimla is the place where you can indulge into variety of activities including trekking, cycling and many more. Climb onto the Jakhoo hill and you will have a panoramic view of Shimla and the Hanuman temple. Shimla got its name from the Britishers who camped here. Shimla is abound with pine, deodar, oak and rhododendron forests.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive delhi
On arrival, meet our tour representative at the airport who will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, take a tour of Old Delhi that includes visit to majestic Red Fort and Jama Masjid (The largest mosque in Asia) built by ShahJahan, Rajghat-Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In afternoon, enjoy the tour of New Delhi including the sightseeing of Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Birla Mandir, and Lotus Temple. Optional tours in the evening can be arranged for Sound and Light show at Red Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: New Delhi - Shimla
After breakfast, drive to Shimla. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Enjoy rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Shimla.
Day 4: Shimla
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing trip to Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman from where you can get an excellent view of Shimla. Next visit the Viceregal Lodge that once served as the seat of power. Rest of the day is free to explore Shimla’s famous mall road. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 5: Shimla
Take Breakfast at the hotel. Later enjoy a full day excursion to Kufri & Chail. In Evening, you are free to explore this beautiful hill station. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Shimla - Chandigarh
After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of the city. Overnight stay at hotel in Chandigarh.
Day 7: Chandigarh
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Board your flight back home from International Airport, Delhi.
