Shirdi
Shirdi temple is a comely shrine built over the Samadhi of famous Shri Sai Baba. The Saibaba Temple, Shirdi, Maharashtra, draws millions of devotees of all religions and castes to pay homage to Shri Sai Baba.
Aurangabad
Aurangabad is named after the great Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The city of Maharashtra, Aurangabad is a much favored tourist hub whcih is adorned with with many monuments like the famous Ajanta and Ellora.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Mumbai
Arrival at Mumbai. Meet and assist by Yatra representative to transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay. Evening is free for shopping. Stay Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Mumbai - Nashik (180 Km- 04 Hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Nashik , en route Trymbakeshwar. Nashik, a sacred city on the banks of the River Godavari, is now a throbbing industrial town. Its beautiful architecture, temples and caves are a mute testimony to its rich and eventful history. An ancient city, yet one that has ridden astride the wheels of history and bears its footprints. Arrive Nasik and check – in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour covering Sunder Narayan Temple, Panchavati and Sita Gufa Caves. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Nashik - Shirdi
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Shirdi to visit Mahasamadhi temple of Sri Sai Baba. Abode one of Maharashtra's most revered saint -- Sai Baba of Shirdi popularly known as the 'Child of God. Sai Baba preached tolerance towards all religions and the message of universal brotherhood. Thursday is marked by special pujas and darshan of the Sai Baba statue. Visit Dwarkamani Mosque where the Baba meditated and slept on alternate nights. Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 4: Shirdi
After breakfast day is free on own to attend prayers and activities at the temples and the local village. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Shirdi - Aurangabad (150 Km - 03 Hrs)
After breakfast, morning drive to Auangabad. Arrive Aurangabad and check – in at hotel. Later visit Bibi-Ka Maqbara (also called poor man's Taj Mahal), which was built in 1679 and is a cheap imitation of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 6: Aurangabad
After breakfast morning visit to Ajanta Caves: Ajanta Caves are noted for their paintings, and its remarkable sculpture. It's thought that the builders of Ajanta moved to here when they suddenly ceased construction at their earlier site. Overnight stay at hotel at Aurangabad.
Day 7: Aurangabad-Mumbai (400 km - 08 Hrs )
After breakfast morning drive to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and /or make a plan for further destination.
