Kochi
Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a lively city located on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the scenic and affluent state of Kerala, better known as 'God's Own Country'. Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. From time immemorial, the British, Arabs, Dutch, Chinese, and Portuguese have left deep-seated marks in the development of Cochin. Cochin is bigheaded with its world class port and international airport that connects major cities worldwide.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Trivandrum Trivandrum to Kovalam
Upon arrival at Trivandrum our representative will receive you at the airport and you will be transferred to the hotel in Kovalam. Sightseeing in afternoon. You will visit Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace, and Art Gallery. After that you will be let free at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 2: Kovalam
After Breakfast, enjoy full day on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 3: Kovalam
After Breakfast, move onto Kanyakumari. Explore Kanyakumari for the whole day. Back to resort. Overnight stay at hotel/resort.
Day 4: Kovalam – Kumarakom (140 Kms - 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom and check into hotel, In the afternoon enjoy the sightseeing of Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 5: Kumarakom to Alleppey by Houseboat
After breakfast morning is free. At 11.30 move to Boat Zetty for boarding the Houseboat. Check-in followed by overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Alleppey to Cochin
After Breakfast, Check out from the hotel. Drive down to Cochin. In afternoon go for a local sightseeing of Cochin such as Dutuch Palace, Chinese fishing nets, Jewish Synogogue, etc. Stay Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 7: Cochin Airport drop
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin for flight / train to return / onward destination.
