Estonia

Estonia is a land of many picturesque lakes, forests and islands which is bordered by the Baltic Sea, the Russian Federation and Latvia. Estonia is the most northerly of the three former Soviet Baltic republics. The Russians, determined to secure a 'window onto the Baltic' acquired Estonia, at the Treaty of Nystadt, from Sweden, in 1721. Estonia became one of the 15 Soviet Socialist Republics following the German invasion of the Soviet Union during the time of World War Two. In the year 2004 Estonia joined the European Union.
Estonia is a sparsely populated country, almost half of which is roofed with forests and wetlands. More than 1000 lakes (5 per cent of the Estonian territory) dot the countryside. Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. It's worth having a travel to Estonia and enjoy the thrilling city.
