Cuisine

These enormous Pyramids were constructed using limestone blocks that counted around 23, 00,000 and weighed 2.5 tones each.

The Sphinx-Known as Abu-al- Hol in Arabic, The Sphinx is an imaginary creature carved out from a single stone. The Sphinx has head of a king and a lion's body. It is truly a mysterious marvel symbolizing strength and wisdom. The mesmerizing sound and light show at the pyramids are also organized in evening.

The Egyptian Museum-Located in the heart of the capital city, Cairo, This remarkable museum is a treasure trove of 120,000 artifacts each belonging to various époques of rich Egyptian history. The Mummy room remains the major attraction amongst the visitors. It houses the body of King Ramses dating back to 1200 BC.

Citadel of Saladin-Constructed by Saladin in 12 century, it is the major landmark of the Cairo city. With in the premises of this citadel lies the glorious mosque of Mohammad Ali. This grand structure has intricately carved marble pillars and beautiful central hall decorated with ornate chandeliers and impressive paintings.

Temple of Karnak- Located towards the north of Luxor city, the temples of Karnak stand silent and dignified. These age old structures are considered sacred place of worship amongst the Egyptians.
