1. Are the prices shown on your site applicable to all?
Yes. However, INR prices are applicable to resident Indians. International fares are applicable to both the Indian residents and foreigners.

2. Can I use travel vouchers, certificates or frequent flyer miles to purchase through Yatra.com?
Airlines generally require that tickets purchased using either frequent flier miles or travel vouchers be handled directly at one of their locations. The same is true for vouchers issued by a variety of travel clubs. You will need to contact them directly to purchase your ticket.

3.How do I make a reservation for someone else?
To complete a reservation for someone else, simply type in his or her name instead of yours for the passenger/traveler name. Your profile information (e.g. name, address, phone number, etc.) will be used as a default. However, you may type over the appropriate fields and replace them with the actual traveler's information.

4. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
You will get the registration status online before you book. After we receive your reservation, we will send you an immediate e-mail confirmation. This e-mail will include your itinerary details and ticket price.

5. I saw a lower airfare advertised today. Why can't I get that airfare using Yatra.com?
This may occur due to several reasons. Airlines generally restrict the number of seats that may be sold at a discounted fare. Those seats may have already been sold out by the time you accessed the system. Also, most discounted fares carry certain travel restrictions such as minimum/maximum stay requirements, advance purchase, blackout dates, etc. Yatra.com takes these restrictions into account when pricing your itinerary. The advertisement should outline these restrictions. Airlines also keep changing the prices and we have no control on airline pricing as well.

6. The lowest fare is obtained only when the airline is not specified while this is not the case when I ask for a particular airline. Why so?
Yatra.com only searches for your preferred airline(s) and the lowest fares that may not be on your preferred airline(s).

7. I need time to think about my reservation before I purchase a ticket. Can I place a reservation on hold?
Yes, you can place a reservation on hold for 48 hours by calling our toll free no 1 888 4 MY YATRA. If you have not purchased your ticket within 48 hours, the reservation will be canceled automatically. You will not be able to hold a reservation if you are traveling within 72 hours or if you already have 10 reservations or if the airline does not allow the tickets to be held. A word of caution: Your ticket price is not guaranteed until you have purchased the ticket.

8. I placed a reservation on hold and purchased a ticket from the airline directly. When I went to the airport, my reservation had been canceled by your system. What happened?
Our agreement with the airlines is that we will either issue a ticket within 24 hours or automatically cancel the reservation. If you put a reservation on hold in Yatra.com and then purchase it directly from the airline, we do not come to know that your ticket was purchased. We are led to believe that the reservation is still on a 'hold' status. Therefore, we cancel your reservation after 24 hours. This generates a cancellation message that is sent to the airline as well. The airline then cancels your purchased ticket.

9. I do not know the airport code for my departure or arrival cities. Can I enter the name of the city instead of the airport code?
Yes, Yatra.com lets you enter the city name instead of the 3-letter airport code in the airport code field.

10. Do I have to enter my frequent-flyer number, meals, seating preference and other service requests with each reservation?
Yes, you have to. You can do this by calling our customer care center

11. Do you offer Infant, Child and Companion fares?
Yes, we offer domestic and international child / infant fares. Senior and companion fares would be added as a product enhancement soon. However, the pricing and rules for such fares are governed by the airlines.

12. Are there any airlines that are not listed on Yatra.com?
There are some airlines for which Yatra.com is currently unable to supply tickets. This list may change periodically and will be updated as those changes occur. If an airline or a sector of your choice isn't available, it is either because there are no special fares on the sector or it is a sector we are unable to serve. Please Email us or call us on our toll free number .

13. Why doesn't Yatra.com search for all flights?
Yatra.com does not search for all flights that match your criteria - just the least expensive or those that most closely match your request.

14. What if I need to change my flight arrangements?
If you need to change your flight arrangements at any time, please email us or call us. Based on the nature of your request, we let you know about the procedures for the required changes.

15. Why did the fare change at purchase time?
Yatra.com uses a real-time reservation database, the same used by travel agents worldwide that lists actual ticket prices and availability. As airlines fill flights or change fares, the database immediately reflects those changes. Always be sure to double-check prices when reserving or purchasing tickets, as the fare may have changed since you first searched for fares or created your itinerary.

15. Is my credit card information secure?
We make every effort to keep all your personal information, including your credit card number, secure. Yatra.com uses the Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology to allow your credit card number to be transmitted to us over the internet, if your browser supports this encryption. As you enter your credit card number, SSL encodes it so it is transmitted in a format that prevents eavesdropping or data theft. Once received by our secure server, your credit card number is never transmitted over the internet again.

16. IIf I store a credit card number in my profile, will charges be automatically billed to my card?
No. We won't charge anything to your credit card until you make a purchase using it.

17. I still don't feel comfortable transmitting my credit card information on the Internet. Are there alternatives for providing my credit card data to Yatra.com?
Yes. We'd be happy to enter your credit card number directly into your profile for you. Contact our Customer Service Department and include your Login ID or Name, credit card type, credit card number and credit card expiry date. Also, please provide us with a phone number, in case we need to contact you.

18. I am an NRI. Can you issue and deliver flight tickets for my parents / friends in India if I pay for for the flight them from outside India?
Yes, we will be very happy to deliver flight tickets for your parents or friends within India. The only condition is that our network should include that town of India. Presently, we are capable of delivering flight tickets to the top 500 cities within India.

19. I do not want to pay online for the flight tickets. What are the other options available?
You can pay Cash, check and/or draft for the online flight tickets that you book with Yatra (India) Pvt. Ltd for all Ex India or Domestic Tickets in India.

20. I have booked a ticket online with Yatra.Com. When will the flight ticket be delivered to me?
It will be delivered within 3 working days after realization of the complete payment of the ticket for all tickets issued and delivered in USA.
Or
It will be delivered within 48 hours inDelhiandMumbai. For other cities of India, the flight ticket will be couriered and will reach you within 72 hours for all tickets issued and delivered in India.

21. I have sent a flight ticket back to you for a refund. How long it will take to credit my card?
This takes about two billing cycles (3-4 weeks) before a credit note is issued. Our accounts section sends the flight ticket through the BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan). They, in turn, send the debit back to airline and request them for a refund. Hence, the time taken for the refund of the flight tickets is a little long.

22. How will my flight tickets be delivered?
Your flight tickets will be delivered by Elbee / Airbourne Express, or certified mail to you.

24. Why should I buy travel insurance?
If an illness, accident, or any other unforeseen circumstance forces you to cancel or interrupt travel plans, you face two major financial losses - money you've invested in non-refundable pre-payments, and medical expenses that aren't covered by your health insurance. That is why more and more travelers are turning to travel insurance to protect their travel investment.

25. Why should I become a member of Yatra.com?
In case of purchases through us, we will need details about you. We take this once and maintain this on our database. This will help us service you efficiently. When you get the best flight deals, exciting holiday packages, comprehensive destination details and travel information and great fares, becoming a member of Yatra.com will be a good decision.

26. How much do Yatra.com services cost?
Screensavers, wallpapers, calendars, travel information, destination details, travel advice can all be obtained free. You only pay for what you purchase.

27. How do I login if I am already a member?
You can login from the home page of the site or continue browsing the site - we will prompt you for the login wherever required.

28. How do I edit my account information?
Just go to the 'My-Itinerary' section and reach for "Update-Profile" on the top of the page.

29. What do I do if I forget my password?
On the top right corner on the home page, click the "Forgot Password" link. You will be prompted for your User ID and your secret question, following which, your password will be mailed to you.

30. Does the site have a registration fee? village/town?
No.

31. What information can I browse for without registering on your site?
You can browse the entire site. We prompt you for a login or registration only at the time of bookings.
