Tourist Attractions in Bhutan

Taktshang Monastery: Taktshang monastery is widely regarded as one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Bhutan. It hangs on a cliff at 3,120 meters (10,200 feet), some 700 meters (2,300 feet) above the bottom of Paro valley.

Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park: Located in the heart of Bhutan, the park covers 1,300 Sq km and is the second largest protected area of Bhutan. The park was formally known as the Black Mountain National Park. Blessed with snow-clad peaks to low conifer and broadleaf forests, the park is home to many animals, reptiles and over 391 bird species of which seven species are among the globally threatened species.

National Museum: Established in 1968 within the converted watchtower of the Paro Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan is a cultural museum in the town of Paro. The museum houses some of the finest masterpieces of Bhutanese art, bronze statues and beautiful paintings.
