Hortobágy National Park:Established in 1973, Hortobágy National Park is the largest continuous natural grassland in Europe. Known for its outstanding landscape, the beautiful park maintains a great biological variety in respect of species and habitats. The Park is spread over an area of 82 thousand acres. So far, the appearance of more than 340 bird species has been registered, of which 160 species nest in the National Park. Inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO, Hortobágy National Park is also home to sereveal animals like Hungarian Grey Cattle, Water Buffalo, and Raczka Sheep.
