National Archaeological Museum: National Archaeological Museum in Rabat was built in 1932 and enlarged a few years later to accommodate finds from intense archaeological research. The museum has also housed the rich archaeological collections (dating back to prehistoric times) of the National Museum since 1986. Some of the notable displays of the museum include those in the prehistoric section, the Islamic archaeology section, pieces from Roman civilizations and a collection of Hellenistic-style bronzes.
