AirAsia India web check-in service can be used by anyone who has a confirmed booking with the airline. By using web check-in facility, you can ease your way into the airport by skipping long queues at the check-in counters. AirAsia India allows its customers three different options to check-in – either through the web, app, or check-in kiosks at the airports. You can find designated check-in kiosks in most airports of India.

How to do Air Asia India Web Check-in

Before doing web check-in on an AirAsia India flight, you must ensure few things such as your passports and other necessary travel documents should be at hand.

 

To use the service, search for the official website of the airline and click on the ‘Check-in’ tab at the homepage. That being done, fill the departure city, your booking number and your family name/surname. Now, click on the 'Check-in' button to proceed. After that, fill in the requisite details. At this moment, you can select your preferred seat on the flight, and even get your baggage allowance increased (if needed). Read all the safety instructions and proceed. Once you are through with the web check-in, your AirAsia India boarding pass will be issued. You can download, save, print or e-mail your boarding pass. The airline also advise its passengers to carry their printed boarding pass to the airport.

When to do web check-in?

The AirAsia India web check-in opens 14 days before and closes 60 minutes (1 hour) before the scheduled departure of the flight.

Note: There are specific rules and restrictions on AirAsia India web check-in wherein passengers like pregnant, with medical conditions, travelling with an infant of 8 days and below, and unaccompanied minors are not eligible to do online check-in.

A. A group of a maximum of 50 people in a single booking can use AirAsia India web check-in facility.

A. Doing web check-in on a flight with AirAsia India airline allows you to choose your seat (on chargeable basis), select extra baggage, print your boarding pass in advance. Q. When should I be at the airport if I have done web check-in on an AirAsia India flight?
A. Even if you have done AirAsia India web check-in, the airline advises you to arrive as early as you can to leave enough time as there may be long queues at security and immigration checkpoints. Also, if you have baggage to check-in then take note that the baggage drop or check-in counters open 2 hours before and closes 45 minutes prior to the departure of your flight. If you don’t have any check-in baggage, you can go straight to the security check and board your flight.
