Until 2014, Air India Regional used to operate an ATR-42 aircraft from the airport to Delhi. Currently, there are direct flights to New Delhi, which are operated by Air India Regional. Also, there are indirect flights via New Delhi that connect several other cities, such as Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru.
The Ludhiana Airport has only 1 domestic terminal. There is a single boarding gate to serve the passengers. The total capacity of this terminal is 40 including both the arrivals and departures, i.e. 20 each.
