Allahabad To Ludhiana Flights

AIR INDIA TORTURES AN 83 YEAR OLD On the 7th of feb,2014, I along with my grandfather and sister left for a cousins wedding to Ludhiana, our flight was from Allahabad to Ludhiana, it was a connecting flight so we had a halt for 1 hour 40 minutes in delhi. Just a day before the journey i.e the 6th of feb we got a text from Air India stating that the flight will take off from Allahabad an hour late, so now the scheduled departure time was 12 pm instead of 11 am. Our flight took off from Allahabad around 12:45 and we landed in delhi at 2:10 pm, what amused us was that in the boarding pass given to us for delhi to Ludhiana it clearly stated that boarding from delhi- 1:40 pm and we reached delhi 30 mins late, as soon as we reached delhi we rushed for the security check, my old grandfather was not even offered a wheel chair even after complaining and begging a million times. I rushed with my grandfather and sister towards the terminal as instructed by all the Air India attendants and officers. On reaching the boarding gate I see the gate is shut. We was shocked and scared at that moment. I ran toward an attendant next to the shut gate, he was not shocked on hearing our situations and tells me that the flight left for Ludhiana as soon as you three landed. He also informed us that this was planned before that the Air India manager had instructed before that our flight wont wait for the 3 passengers coming down to delhi just because the connecting flight was late. And the manager wanted that we could be adjusted later on in some other flight. The thing which irritated us, the most was that it was not our fault that our plane landed delhi late and it is the duty of the air india managers to make sure that they coordinate properly and not leave out passengers.
