What's Good: Staff and Services
Reason For Rating : Amazing Stay. Nice rooms and Decent staff. Close to Taj Mahal. Roof top Restaurant is the USP for the hotel.

What needs to improve : Horrible service
Reason For Rating : Hotel is fine but the service is JUST HORRIBLE. Please be Aware of this hotel. They did not even give Towels for 2 days after check in. Even for a cup of Tea, they kept us waiting for an hour. The room servicd never pics the call and people in the reception seems to be dead most of the time. Moreover they did not even serve the complimentary breakfast at the roof top restaurent. I had made full payment before coming in but still the manager asked for payment at the check in and was not aware of the payment being made through Yatra.com. The housekeeping even did not come to pick up the luggage when we reached the hotel. The only good thong was that the breakfast was tasty. All in all, a horrible stay. They are just taking advantagr of being very close to Taj Mahal.

What's Good: Hotel was situated at near by tajmahal. Everything was fantastic but construction was going on at roof.

This is regarding my Booking ID MUFT6289. I had booked with hotel OYO 22833 Mumtaz Mahal in Agra for 9th March 2020. On the after noon of 9th March 2020, i got to know from the manager of the property that the property was going to be closed for renovation with immediate effect. I had called him to let him know my late check in time. He had also told that he had informed OYO's management about the sudden change via email just when I called him around 1.30pm. There was no intimation either from the hotel or OYO's customer care regarding cancellation. We were to reach on 10th March around 3am. What would have happened had I not called to inform my late arrival? We were travelling with three kids. In the dead of the night, where would we have gone? Knowing this, i called customer care and Mr. Nitesh booked me with hotel orchid. He also told that any extra amount incurred would be adjusted by OYO as the cancellation of my initial booking was not by me but by the property. But while checking out, i was asked to pay 979/- and your customer support was working on a resolution for almost 1.5hrs. As i had to leave, i paid and checked out. I called and emailed OYO hotels multiple times but they put the call on hold for a long time to check with the manager of hotel mumtaz mahal! Wonder that they did not get the email from the hotel manager about the property being cancelled for renovation. Also, how can someone close the hotel for renovation in such a short time!! Emails to the customer support are reverted saying the issue was resolved where as it was not resolved. This is a clear case of false promise, harassment and cheating. I will never stay with OYO. Nor will I recommend it. Pathetic service.

This was so far a great joinery and a wonderful experience that's what I found a complete support from Oyo and next the overall staff & services found is praiseworthy as well one more thing is prime locality

From the very beginning till the end has been a terrible experience. 15 days trip in India and this was the worst hotel ever. Even take care here with your money. After this hotel we started missing some money in our wallet.

Worst night spent on a hotel ever! The rooms were filthy and ice cold. The beds had stains and pubic hair on the sheets, and there was generally dirt everywhere. It was leftover trash in every drawer that we opened, and we had to change rooms multiple times. It was obvious that we were not the only customers who struggeled with the stay, because there was always loud discussions in the lobby (The bad sound insulation made sure we hardly got any sleep). The service was terrible, and the staff does not know how to manage a hotel. We originally booked 3 nights, but could not bare more than 1. Please, do your self a favour and book another hotel!

We had booked a room at this place via OYO. The rooms were pathetic. The bed sheets had urine stains on it. The walls of the property was damaged. The place is in construction so all dusty. There was no water in the toilet. They keep trying to change the property name regularly to escape reviews. None of the photos are real. They are highly staged. Worst of all there was zero support from OYO...They said they will contact in 10 mins on informing them about the problem and then they just left us stranded...they wasted 1 day of our stay See the photos and then decide.... Advice: Never book this hotel..there are cheaper, better and more hygienic places available... .never book on OYO they will cheat you...better to see the room availability on their app and check the room condition...then directly negotiate with them....it will be way cheaper.
