What's Good: Inspite of being located in the by lanes of Agra, Hotel Retreat is an excellent place to stay. Its close proximity to Taj Mahal makes it an ideal abode for weekend travellers. Hotel was exceptionally clean and well decorated with all the modern amenities. Hotel staff is courteous and always ready to help. Food was good and service was prompt. Hotel lacks the adequate parking space and this is the only limitation that we experienced. Would still recommend others to experience this property for a cosy, comfortable, luxurious stay.

What's Good: The Good: - Great service - Variety complimentary breakfast. - walled pool. - Almost everything else. The Bad: - Parking is an issue. You get to park your vehicle, but getting it out needs calling people to move their cars, for which they have to be called from their rooms. It always takes 10 minutes to get your car on the road. They have very less parking space compared to no. of rooms they have. - No good view from the rooms. The Ugly: - Nothing.

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Close to Taj only a couple of km away. Agra is only small so don't expect big flash hotels. The Retreat is located on a quietish street. Good restaurant on site with reasonable prices. Pool was good just lacked a bit of atmosphere. Rooms were small and a little musty but clean. Small souvenir shop on site too. If staying request a room at back of hotel for a quiet nights sleep.

Lovely comfortable room, clean and tastefully decorated. ( Loved the bedding...) Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant with breakfast buffet. Interesting gift store on site. Safe surroundings, close to the Taj Mahal. Whats not to like?

We stayed here for one night in February 2018. First of all, Agra is a very small place with a very high tourism because of Taj Mahal. This puts hotels in a position that, "no matter what, they are going ot be sold out". Because of that, most of the hotels are very old, dirty and outdated, and they don't feel like they have to renovate or make you more comfortable as most of the tourists stays in Agra max. two days and lot of people are coming every day. Before coming to this hotel, we stayed one hour in another hotel, and went out to seek for a better one. Most of the hotels we saw are disastrous. We find here and decided to stay here. Compared to the other hotels in Agra, this place is marvellous. Breakfast was very good. Room needs a bit of renovation, same like all hotels in Agra. It was silent in the night and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Overall, we are very happy that we found this hotel last minute and stayed here.

Agra is one of those places where nobody visits for more than a couple of days. A mid-priced hotel is therefore fine. This hotel is clean, has a good restaurant (the buffet breakfast is good) and is close to the Taj Mahal.

We had a great stay here in January. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff were polite and responsive. I had the best shower of my 2 week trip in India. Definitely up to North American Standards. Would stay here again
