Great location. A lot of hotels won't even consider booking foreigners because they don't want to complete the c-form. This one did and the price was okay. The room was okay and the balcony was nice. The bathroom was small and the showerhead needs replacement. The mattress was sad. I've slept more comfortably in train stations. No hot water. Wi-Fi was available at an hourly rate. Staff were responsive but not particularly friendly. No aknowledgement coming and going.

I was there for almost a month. There were very basic rooms. Without internet but in a nice location in the old city. The street might be flooded in monsoon time. However I would go back there in a friends trip.

The rooms were very unclean and the tap had brackish water. Stayed there with a friend of mine for 1 night. They were quite insistent on having her Passport, making flimsy excuses for it. When we refused to hand it over, they acted as if they will throw us out of the hotel.

Mehul is a budget hotel, some rooms are not bad,but check more than one if you decide to sleep there. I've been there several times, and i can say that i dont see any improvement, sheet are never without stains, water is cold, the staff is not kind. But anyway you can sleep there one night.

I stayed 3 night in Mehul Hotel. It was comfortable and clean. The position is also good since Lal Darwaja is pivotal for markets, rickshaws and bus stand. However, in comparison with other places, this is not fair-priced.
