    Very Good!

    What's Good: The beautiful interior was really well appointed even though the lobby was smaller than some of the facilities I have stayed with.

    What needs to improve : The room was very small. They have no control over the location, but I would suggest maybe they should work with the city government and clean up the neighbourhood.

    Reason For Rating : Hyatt Ahmedabad was really a nice oasis in the midst of frighteningly dusty, dirty, and almost slum looking locale. Once you step inside the premises, it is clean, well decorated, and extremely well administered. Serving staff, Concierge staff, and the management staff were excellent. Their walk in restaurant offers really good food, my son scarfed their large chicken pepperoni pizza, and the tea was really good. We did not have enough time to spend and explore all the amenities but from a distance the pool looked quite inviting. Our room was shockingly small, (I guess we get used to large sizes in the US) but it was modern, well organized, clean, and had a good bathroom/shower. Room service was excellent. Once again the staff was super courteous. It was really nice to get that degree of service.

    Great hotel great staff great location cannot ask for anything better than this,in the city of Ahmedabad. Location and food is something to vouch for! Certainly coming here again! The hotel is clean and tidy and up to date with all modern facilities.

    The service was the best the hotel was clean staff was very much polite they had taken all the precaution for COVID -19 it was very nice then expected I really enjoyed my trip and returned safely had a great journey Thank you!

    I stepped into the hotel as a frequent guest of Hyatt Ahmedabad, not expecting the usual high levels of hospitality this time around... The times are such... It's hard in particular for the hotel industry, with a spate of new rules and guidelines to keep the COVID at bay, bordering right on putting the guest at much discomfiture... In my own thoughts, it was foolish to have expected the usual warmth of welcome... But I must say, the hotel FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS... No doubt, they are still getting warmed up to a fresh restart since the UNLOCK 1 began, and yes initially I did face a few problems adjusting to the new ways; but the problems were short-lived... First and foremost, I would wholeheartedly THANK Mr. Bhuwan Chandra for having upgraded my seven day long stay to a higher category "club" room... Mr. Naresh and Mr. Teerath, like at all times carefully ensured that the check-in process was really really smooth and hassle free... A SPECIAL THANKS to Mr. Naresh for guiding us through all COVID related information during our stay so patiently... Housekeeping and roomcleaning, during the current COVID times have assumed a degree of great importance... If you come to think of it, the housekeeping staff have the MOST IMPORTANT job in the hotel, in the given situation... And naturally, they must be in maximum stress... But I was so heavily lucky and blessed to have been given the services of a housekeeping team that so playfully and without losing the seriousness of their job by even a tiny bit, took such good care of my special health related specific needs... My unending loving and heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Shambhu (Assistant Housekeeping Manager) and Mr. Pintu (Housekeeping Team Leader) for having constantly overseen the room cleaning to my utmost satisfaction... As far as Miss Yalek goes, words always fall short to describe her tireless and dedicated efficiency towards her job... Every time I visit this hotel, she is specially appointed to do the room cleaning job for my room... And each and every single time, she has FAR EXCEEDED my expectations in such a joyous way... She has understood my requirements so well, that not once did I have to utter a word of instruction to her... She is MINDBLOWINGLY BRILLIANT at her job... And so is Miss Monica, a lovely lady with an ever smiling, ever glowing face, who so ably assists Miss Yalek in the entire process of room cleaning... The current group of staff led by Mr. Pratyush Tripathi at TG (The Best Oriental Restaurant in Ahmedabad), is simply the MOST OUTSTANDING that I have come across in a long time... Mr. Jaspreet, Mr. Jitendra and Mr. Dipankar ensured that I had a time well spent while waiting for my double shot espresso, with their genuinely cheerful, friendly, warm and alert presence... As always, Mr. Kushal Kundu was at his BEST with suggestions that were spot on when it came to satisfying our culinary needs... The memories of the lip smacking complimentary desserts that came with our InRoomDining order, will be truly cherished forever... BIG BIG BIG SPECIAL AND HEARTFELT THANKS TO HIM FOR THAT... And KUDOS to the CHEF for having prepared such unforgettable tasty dishes... I would SPECIALLY like to mention here that Mr. Pratyush Tripathi came to us to greet us and this warmth filled gesture really touched our hearts... Chatting with him, we realised why the restaurants are prospering so well under him... The extremely sweet girl Miss Richa, whom I have known from my earlier stays and who used to work at the Lounge then (and currently working in the IRD department), upon my call came specially to meet me and greeted me with her charming smile and her sparkling presence... So, I would end by saying that these 7 nights stay of mine at the Hyatt Ahmedabad, was simply THE BEST, I have ever had in a Hyatt property anywhere... Only one MAJOR COMPLAIN, inspite of us being such regular visitors, NOT FOR ONCE has the GM of Hyatt, Ahmedabad ever made an effort to see us and say hello... Would have been such a kind and loving gesture had he done so... We have been sincerely visiting all sorts of 5 Star resorts since such a long time, and believe me it makes a great IMPACT on the guests, if he/she is greeted by the GM... I must say that all Hyatt properties STRONGLY LACK this quality in almost all the properties we have visited untill now... I will appeal to Hyatt to change this SNOBBISH ATTITUDE of theirs in future...

    The service staff and food is good, the location of hotel is nice, must stay when in ahemdabad, for good n excellent services, one of the finest hotel of the city, all precautions are taken well related to covid

    We stayed here for a 3-day business trip. It's probably one of the best hotels in town, but the whole district is poor and dirty, so what can you expect...?? The staff were very friendly and the airport transfer very well arranged. The room itself was not too bad, though constantly cold and not too specious. The main restaurant was not too bad, but somehow always slightly smelly. The grill restaurant was better, but not very cozy. The pool is simply useless. The roads around are so busy (and there was construction going on next door), that you can't relax. It's well made, but who's going to lie in these exhaust smells and noise? And then there not a drop of alcohol to get! I understand that this is a 'dry state', but in other places we stayed where there is (for religious reasons) no alcohol allowed, at least you can get it on the hotel grounds itself; hotels are exempt. Not here!!
