Spent a wonderful and comfortable time at the bungalow. We were on our way from Delhi to Bombay and needed a last minute place to stay in Ajmer Naveen was extremely accommodating and was clearly happy to have a dog visit the property! Shankar bhaiya, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and sweet. The rooms and bathrooms were very very clean, and the food was delicious! Thank you so much! I hope to visit again :D

For those planning a trip to ajmer or passing by, this is the place guys. Food, ambience, royal essence. Spot on. Our pets had a great time with lots of peacocks to chase around. Rather they gelled with the hosts so well as they themselves are great pet lovers. It was a great experience and I would love to come back to this place again. Thanks for the hospitality Mrs & Mr capur

We had initially booked The Ajmer Bungalow as a night halt for our drive from Vadodara to Delhi. The booking experience with Naveen was superb and his call to us prior to our arrival to check what we wanted and suggest tips to us was also much appreciated. Mostly however we were amazed when we reached The Ajmer Bungalow. The Ajmer Bungalow is more than a 100 year old house where Naveen and Rajika stay. One side of it has been renovated for guets. The bedroom, anteroom and bathroom are clean, comfortable and immediately gives you a sense of homeliness and comfort. The whole house is filed with books and art. It's an absolute paradise for anyone who loves that. I could seriously spend days and days there just going through his books. The highlight of the stay was ofcourse the food. Naveen cooks himself and I would strongly recommend that you skip a few meals before you reach to do justice to the spread. When Naveen had asked us what we wanted for dinner, I had suggested local cuisine. What was waiting for us was the tastiest food I have EVER eaten ANYWHERE in Rajasthan. Naveen and Rajika were waiting for us and we sat down for dinner together and by the time it was over, i could not move anymore. Next morning's breakfast was equally amazing and the eggs were to die for. Even the breakfast condiments - various kinds of jams and preserves are home made by Naveen, which resulted in me overeating again. I think that if I spent a few more days there I would definitely have added a few more inches to my already bulging waistline. One more tip to travelers is to carry mosquito repellent spray etc as Ajmer is quite full of mosquitoes during the monsoon season. Although there are insect repellents on the property and there were no mosquitoes in the bedroom, if you are in the garden or sitting by the garden, bug spray is probably necessary. Overall, we are exhilarated at this find by us and cant wait to plan a longer vacation just to go through The Capoor's book collection and gorge on his culinary masterpieces.

My stay at the Ajmer Bungalow was absolutely lovely filled with interesting conversations. The Capoors make sure in every possible way to make you feel at home. The food is excellent!!! The Bungalow itself is a charming setting with its sweet corners and with the warm hospitality of my hosts, my time there was made memorable. I would love to go back.

We had a lovely, lovely stay at this excellent homestay. The Capoors are gracious and interesting hosts who provided a warm welcome, great conversation, a beautiful and comfortable room and wonderful food. This homestay was a lovely treat - we wish that we had booked for more than one night and hope that we will be able to visit again. Thanks so much - it was just great.
